Nuggins has this one figured out, over is the play here IMO... If I had to take a side, it would be The Football Giants at home needing a divisional win. Keeping in mind I don't think the Skins D is as good as it was at the beggining of the year and for them skins to win they must score in bunches. RGIII will do a great job of staying in the game, just not sure he keeps it inside of 6. GL guys. I love reading through this type of thread, very valuable!!
I agree but the over just seems way to obvious... I'll probably sit this divisional game out.

how does this game remind u of seattle last season? that statement makes no sense. We are 0-2 in the division right now and cant afford a loss here. Skins are ranked 32nd against the pass and we are one of the best passing teams in the league. i see eli going for 300 plus here and bradshaw continuing last 2 weeks roll and going for another 100 again. Giants oline buries skins d line and giants win 31-17
you could be right man, Giants are more than capable of laying a beating on the Skins. way better cappers on this board than me, not much surprises me either way the games end up.
i think the Giants win, but wouldn't shock me if the division dog found a way to cover. g.l.

Got plenty of insightful thoughts when doing this last week so let's do it again. Will be making a play on this game this weekend. What's everyone's opinion?
Do the Giants neutralize a running QB again like they did to Cam Newton or do the Redskins put up a fight?
No discussions needed. Just take the the Skins and the points. Discussions and looking at all the stats and standings will convince you to bet NYG and it will lead you to lose your bet.

I don't think a line of 50 on an O/U is an obvious "over" play. Many will think NYG shuts down RGIII and the number stays under, if not well under. You could argue the cattle will be hurded to take NYG laying the points and the under... I also like Eli on the road better than at home as has been said in this thread. However, it is a different time of year, NYG needs this win, and I do think RGIII puts some on the board. I think Cambyspree is pretty close to the probable final score, but I would lean a little more from both sides clearing that total.

RG3 IS GONNA DO what he does against any team so your not gonna stop him. Giants offense wins this game against one of the worst units without their best player.

Huge Giant fan, and that can effect my pick in so many different ways it's not funny, but my gut? I locked in Skins +7 immediately after 9er game would lean over. My team has a way of doing something great one week only to refuse to build on it, lol. GL

This is a perfect letdown for the G-Men. They will win the game, that I have little doubt about but they may just leave too many openings in this game for the always dangerous 'Skins. Both teams are coming off from huge wins but if there's a team that will be more likely resting on their laurels, it's the Giants.
Not too mention, the Giants always find themselves in a roll but fail to capitalize on it time and again. I just think +7.5 for team that is as good as the Skins may be too much.
LeagueCapper, any thoughts on the Thursday night game? Currently, I'm leaning Seattle. I expect the Niners to bounce back but I honestly can't imagine them having more motivation than they had last week when they faced the same team that eliminated them last year. Also, I see the Seahawks taking away the run from the Niners -- their bread and butter on offense. Couple that with the fact that they are capable of putting much pressure on the QB, I see the 'Hawks covering.
It'd be nice to hear your thoughts in this matter. As always, best of luck to everyone whichever side you are on.

Throw those stats away Austin, Wash had a shitty qb in those 11 games and a better secondary.
SF (+3)
NE (-1/2)
Was/Nyg over 40
10 pt teaser
thats a good looking teaser but i'm thinkin the skins +17 1/2 safer than the over this cud be a grinder...hell i like the skins with a touchdown only because the Giants are settling into a running game mode with this young kid and shanahan will be content to leverage this one into the 4 th quarter...at the end of the day its a no play for me especially when the steelers and the saints are on the warpath

Are u serious? letdown? its the giants/skins no freakin way the giants let down!
I honestly do. I realize that this is a division rivalry but the Giants have come off two big wins, and more often than not, they tend to let the team hang-in the game more than they should. I could be wrong as with any assumption made on betting. That I realize, but I'll stick with what I said.
Best of luck, Cambyspree.

I dont consider allowing 27 pts against the browns and falling behind 14-0 nothing a big win. They player their best game in years against the niners and i believe they carry it over into this game

Seahawks are in a tough spot here, I like the 49ers but feel the line is too high. Will have a writeup on it by tonight

I respect your opinion on the matter but teams that come from a big deficit and win is a bigger -- albeit more draining -- than a total blowout. Also, the G-Men has had recent trouble with the 'Skins for some unknown reason. That and the encouraging line movement is enough for me to pull the trigger while my book has it at 7.5 and not at any lesser number(some books already have it at 6.5 and 6).
If you're right on the matter, I'll be the first one to congratulate you, but I'll stick with the system that has gotten me this far.

That much is true but with two defensive teams who have identical strengths on offense, I'll take the team with the points that is backed-up by the early line movement.
Best of luck, LeagueCapper. Keep these threads coming.

how does this game remind u of seattle last season? that statement makes no sense.
Is this a homer prediction or do you honestly think the Giants win by 14?

I've rode the Skins a number of times thus far in the NFL Contest on the site including last week VS Vikes and I'll be riding them again this week.
I think they have a very good chance to win SU.
Because of how dominate the 49ers looked coming into the Giants game, the Ginats highly likely put in an intense week of practice and game, it will be very difficult if not impossible for the Giants to match that intensity this week.
My spread on this game is Giants -1.15.
With a 5 pt difference between my line and the closing line my line is 5-3 ATS thus far.........................................................

Definitely not a homer prediction! I see the giants doing whatever they want on offense this week and i see the defense continuing what they started this week and stopping the skins. skins will get some points but i really feel giants play their best home game of the year this week and get revenge for 2 double digit losses last season.

Giants play the best home game of the year, the week after basically shutting out a very physical 49ers team on the road, having to travel literally across the country, with another divisional game on deck? Sounds like a perfect time to play their best home game of the year

I seriously cant see any logical scenario where the skins defense hangs with the giants offense this week. ELI will torch their bum of a secondary and lack of pass rush! Bradshaw and wilson will get 130 + again.Giants know last weeks win means nothing if they dont come out hard and win this game. 0-3 in the division will not fly. They will start early and wont play from behind!
