usikbasterd-How many TO's and TD's did Romo have? 0 TD's and 2 TO's. Meanwhile Orton had a GW TD pass and 0 TO's.

Jersey973-Um, yes, did you wqatch the game? He led his team with a come from behind W. Yes, HE has an All Pro WR, That is one thing Cutler does not have. And now Hester got hurt. Ayiyayi!
 
depeche2- you been around a long time and I repect that. BUt I would be more worried about Chicago THan Denver. While it looks like Denver can win the AFC West, I ccan't make the same argument with Chicago. And let me tell You, Chicago is one of my all time favorite cities in the world. I am reaing a great book on the 33-34 crime wave. A lot of cool history up there. And it is proven, Orton is better than Sexy Rexy. And Mike Piazza was like draff pick number 900 something only as a favor by his godfather Tommy Lasorda, it isn't where you start, it is where you finish, and Mr. BRady was a 6th rounder, how did that work out?

If the Broncos still had Cutler I'd put them in the Super Bowl discussion right now.  McDainels is a good coach that made one mistake.  Orton isn't the first mediocre QB to win 4 straight games.  And he won't be the last.

How did I lose to my ego...?  Everybody loses games...  Dallas was up 10-0 and then fumbled it away...S#it happens...  I win a lot and lose a little sometimes.

And about that bet...Yes, I will bet you that Cutler has a better record this year...Over Orton...

We will do $100 a game difference...

I know, he did it with the bears. I don't think Denver can win the SB. It is so nice not to have expectations or low exectations and then when you win it is great!

Are we going by winning percentage? Or games? What about injury?

so if Cutler or ORton gets hurt next week, then what? I win because Orton is 5-0 & Bears are 3-2?

 

I do this bet with my friend and we did it by BEars record v Broncos Record.

We will do "whoever wins more games during the regular season"...They must start to get credit for the win.

If they get injured, then they won't start and they won't get credit for the win, if their team wins...

We will do $100 for each game that the winning QB has over the other.

However, if an injury happens, the most someone can lose is $100.

I don't think so. if Denver is 11-4 and Bears are 8-7 and Cutler gets hurt, I only get $100?

I will do $100 SU for the best team record. It is a team sport you know.

Orton is not a bad QB at all.  But Denver being 4-0 has zero to do with Orton.  They are 4-0 in spite of him, not because of him.

Looks like Kyle has excelled in this Denver Offense. Can't say the same thing for Cutler. SO you still think Kyle Orton has done nothing to lead his team to 6-0?

Side Note-How about Cedric Benson, 531 yards 4 TD's 4.2 clip

this has turned into a great thread

so far - yea the nod goes to Orton. But this is a team game
and the broncos have an excellent team

But having said that, you don't see Orton throwing pics
or being strip sacked - he has played out of his mind so far

the question is how long can that last?

And let us be fair. Cutler's best WR is a former Kick Returner
but I have seen flashes of talent from Cutler already
it is going to take some time but Cutler is going to be great

I dont judge after just 6 games but If I had to pick one
for the future I would still take Cutler

As far as the bet on here

I agree with kid vegas. 26 posts does not mean anything
we were all at that 26 # at one point

Personally I prefer a gentleman bet here with members
and save the real money for the the games..

respect on covers is worth a lot to me

I can vouch for kidvegas, I am sure he is good for it 
make a bet and I am sure he would make good.

Excellent Idea, Tallent888, Broncos have a better record, you use Kyle Orton Avy of my choice and if bears have a better record you can pick a Cutler avy for me

I have felt better waiting on std results after a questionable weekend, than I have betting a game when I backed Jay Cutlers team and he has the ball, I'm always fearing the worst rather than expecting the best.
