Justliketoplay NFL stress free gambling 2024-2025 Overtime season experiment

Greetings fellow handicappers after two winning seasons with my weekly overtime experiment, I am back for more this season.

Those who followed my stress-free overtime experiment last year knows that my experiment led us up to $150.00 play on a 13-1 overtime in the Superbowl that paid back $1950.00 and propelled my starting bankroll of $2000.00 in the beginning of the season to a a final season ending net profit of $590.00 after playing over 290 overtime games throughout the season including the playoffs..... All stress free for me and those that followed throughout the year

My starting bankroll again this season will be $2000.00

I will play one unit on each game to go into overtime weekly throughout this season with a max weekly wager of 16 units (Again one unit per game) unless more games are played for the week or less if less games are played throughout the regular season.

Each of my units played per each game is $10.00 (No more No less) for me at least

One overtime game gets our money wagered back for the week

Two Overtime games for the week nets us profit for the week.

This truly is a stress-free overtime experiment because you do NOT have to be glued to your set or aggravated and tossing your remote at your expensive television because of a bad call or an interception or a fumble or a....well you get the picture. (No pun intended)

Last year I would just go about my day and get a lot done and only would tune in late midafternoon or later for the late games to see if indeed there was an overtime game or two or even three as years past has indeed have happened in one week of NFL games.

Yes and you may also go several weeks without an overtime game hence the way it is in the gambling world.

This overtime experiment is just an awesome way to stay disciplined with your bankroll from the start of the season keeps you in action every week by having action on every single game and most importantly.....Stress free!

Things do get interesting as less games are played (Playoffs) when the units are magnified by playing the maximum 16 units per week as mentioned above.

We minimize our losses in week one of my stress free NFL overtime experiment with an overtime game in Detroit over the rams at 13-1 which returns us $140.00 with several close games including one being a last second field goal in Miami over Jacksonville which kept an overtime from happening and would of netted us profit had it been missed and sent into overtime and so we move on to week two.

We minimize our losses once again in week two of my stress free NFL overtime experiment with an overtime game in New England with Seattle over the Patriots (23-20 ) at overtime odds of 13-1 which returns us $140.00 with several close games which came close with overtime looming and would have netted us profit had any other of the close games in week two gone to overtime....and so we move on to week three in hopes of a couple or possibly more overtime games to show some nice profits with just having and needing one overtime game this week three which would keep the season starting bankroll with plenty of firepower intact to continue with my season number three of my NFL overtime experiment.

Starting Bankroll takes a 16 unit hit in week three of my NFL overtime experiment with NO overtime games with some close but no cigar endings so I move on and see what week four may get me in hopes of one overtime to minimize losses for the week or a more desirable two overtimes or more in week four to show some needed and most desired profit added to my starting bankroll.

To bring in my own observations from your system last season (and I watched you post and track it), it really wasn't stress free. It was in the negatives until the Superbowl...the LAST game of the season. 

How long has the overtime system been hitting the positives over the last 20 years? I'd be interested to know that.

Good question I've only decided to do it for the first time two seasons ago and was successful both seasons and this being my third season decided after two winning seasons to do it again and why not? Things get interesting during the playoffs and have had times when three overtimes hit in one week. Stress Free? No question about it as I don't have to yell at the zebras and don't really even have to watch the games for that matter. I just wait until the final minutes to see if I have a chance for overtime and if not...Then on to the next game. It's gambling and if I run out of money this year from my season starting bankroll it's plain it's simple, I'm done with my overtime experiment for the year and possibly for good but in the meantime, I'm sticking with it until I have a losing year and, in the meantime, I'll be trying to get me some Overtime!!

Starting Bankroll Gets padded a bit in week five as two overtimes hit one being (Tampa 30 @ Atlanta 36) at 11-1 and second being (Baltimore 41 @ Cincinatti 38) at 12-1 with many other coming very close most notably a bad potential overtime beat with Buffalo @ Houston with Buffalo at their own 3 yard line deciding to pass three times instead of killing the clock and opting for overtime and then after turning the ball over to the bills with no time left Houston kicker Fairbairn hits a 59 yard field goal to secure the victory for the Texans sending the dismal Buffalo Bills packing and heading home with a loss....tsk tsk you Boneheads!!

The Only Tie I got as of late was the one my Girl gave me to wear for a dinner function this past Saturday as per the one/ones I desired on NFL week seven never happened and has me pulling from my bankroll in back to back weeks in hopes for some much-needed overtime games in week eight.

I made some Chicken Vesuvio Last Night For Dinner and it came out outstanding! 

Just wanted to start off with a positive for myself before telling a negative which was another zilch of any overtime in week eight making three weeks in a row without one.

Yep normally the same odds I get where do you play Nole? At a casino or online because not all gambling sites and venues offer this overtime play option.

 Same here except I go live on Thursday morning and make my plays on the kiosks and ironically if I go on Tuesday or Wednesday they don't offer the tie option (after regulation ) for all the games but on Thursday the full card of games opens up for the overtime odds but it appears the rivers app allows the overtime play option much sooner.

Gotcha.

Any thoughts on not betting on the games this week that have teams that tied last week? Like what would history show are the odds of a team going to OT two weeks in a row?

Seattle is on the bye, so 5 teams that went to OT last week would eliminate 5 games this week.

But go with Seattle next week off bye.

Just a thought. I’m not a back tester nor do I have the look back history of how often does the repeat OT happen. 

Obviously past performance doesn’t mean anything 100% moving forward. The same team could just up and go to OT 4 weeks straight for all we know but trends are def a potential decision tool.

Well that's the unique thing about this overtime experiment. Is that you really just need one game to go into overtime  and you get 80% plus of your money back and if you win two games it becomes profitable and so who's to say you won't get any overtime/overtimes in back to back weeks? It has happened before and may just happen again this week you just never know.

So with that being said my money will be chancing it and will be treated as any other gambling wager which is just that......A gamble

After three consecutive NO overtime weeks we get a Trifecta of Overtimes in week Nine with two being 12-1 (Patriots 17 @ Tennessee 20) and (Rams 26 @ Seattle 20) With a week ending Monday Night overtime game coming in at 14-1 (Tampa 24 @ Kansas City 30)

That much needed profit of 41 plus units added to the bankroll now assures me of enough bankroll to last the rest of the season and through the Superbowl.
