What people fail to realize when bringing up Flutie is they "doubted" his size. That is it. They knew he was a winner and a gamer but they thought he would be too small to play in the NFL and be successfull. Tebow is doubted because of his lack of accuracy and his horrible mechanics. No other QB in NFL history has "looked" so awful yet won so much while looking so bad.Most quarterbacks that suck have ok mechanics and accuracy but they can't read a defense or make quick decisions to be successful. That is what is so interesting. If he had better accuracy and mechanics then he would probably be a "great" QB as his work ethic and competitiveness are so strong. The media has caused many people to "hate" on him but almost nobody i know actually hates the guy as a person. They just don't think he can be a successful long term NFL quarterback. That is not "hating" on him. It's just speaking their opinion.

.i made several arguments about how Tebow is better than Eli during the Tebow Mania stretch but i only said that because, Tebow wasn't turning the ball over and their team was winning. I am a traditionalist when it comes to QB's and it pains me to see Eli with so many INT.I never did say that Tebow is a great QB.
