I hear it's a staple at Super Bowl parties but I haven't played it and it's in betting option form at Circa called Circa Squares..
I'm thinking of sprinkling a little on it for fun. Looking at only the first quarter. the later quarters could seem more unpredictable. Maybe I'll look at a few full game numbers. Anyway these are the numbers im looking at for the 1st quarter..
Rams 0, Bengals 0 +425
Rams 3, Bengals 0. +650
Rams 3, Bengals 3. +1300
Rams 6, Bengals 3 +5500
Rams 7, Bengals 3. +825
Rams 7, Bengals 0. +400
Rams 6, Bengals 6. +27500
6-6 interests me for some strange reason, maybe its the odds.. lol. I'm thinking 7-3, 3-3, 6-6, 6-3 and maybe 3-0. I think it will be a low scoring quarter...
Sip on that plus money honey!

Get your choice there, different. Normally it's a blind draw, all squares are sold, you put your initials in the ones you bought and then the numbers are basically pulled out of a hat, so purely random. I've been lucky on them, they're fun and some of the bigger ones there are thousands of dollars to be won on each quarter. You could conceivably win all 4 quarters too. Unlikely but possible. I've won 2 quarters before, I think it was $1000 a quarter, few years ago. Nice payout, and fun. Good luck!

In the 1Q of Super Bowls, each team averages 3.3 points, the lowest of any quarter.
Good luck.
I never had any luck with the random draw SB squares, and this year I know the office won't have one because most people work from home on most days. There's no way to collect enough money to fill 100 squares, dadgummit.

Yea. Take your money. Throw it in the trash. That’s what football squares are good for. 4 Chances out of 100 due to 4 qrtrs. It’s for ppl who want to and hope to win but don’t have a clue what odds are.

You bought squares and got all those numbers? That’s impossible for you to get all those unless you bought every square on the board lol. Your name goes on blank squares until it’s filled. THEN and only then are the numbers are drawn to see what you get. No way in hell you got all those numbers for each team.

Before online gambling and then legal gambling became prolific...these "box pools" as they were known for generations ..were the primary mainstream way to have a little fun gambling on the Super Bowl...in fact every party I ever attended had at least one and they also were organized at work prior to the games...as someone mentioned the larger ones could be quite lucrative..but the selections were always random and after the boxes were all chosen and filled in..
....interesting to see how the sportsbooks have adapted them into another way to make money off of us lol

I’ve only bought like 2 and both numbers were shit. Unless you’re getting that 0-0, 3-3,3-0 vice versa, 7-0 vice versa or 6-0/6-6 7-7? You’re playing lotto cause those numbers listed are your best odds at winning multiple qrtrs

I’m in a pretty big pool. 1k a box. Hoping to hit the 4th qtr for 50k
A liquor distributor for bars in the Chicago area used to run a 1k entry,10k-1qt,10k-2nd qt,10k-3qt,50k final in the 90's.He would have a big party free drinks and food a week before the SuperBowl, thats where he would draw the numbers, just so everyone knew drawing the numbers was being done fairly.

@Digitalkarma 0-0 is most common landing spot for 1Q at 14 times occurring 3-0 is second place with 10x 7-0 at 8x
Exactly. 0-0 is a no brainer and thus the value is what it is. Rams have allowed no score to opponent end of 1st quarter in 12 of their 20 games. If we're including the one 10 pointer allowed at home, that's 13 of 20 but I doubt Bengals score 10 in the 1st. Narrow it down to only Rams home games. Rams have kept opponent scoreless in 8 of their 10 home games. Most likely Bengals score 0, but a few turnovers early could definitely swing it open a bit.
