I do not understand the comment. I don't know if books are honest or stupid.  All I know is line yesterday was -8.  It has jump over 2pts.  Lines don't just magically jump full points or more without injuries or money money moving it!

Since there was no significant injury to speak of.  Can only assume it was money. Since the spread has increase from 8 to 10.  The logic conclusion is money coming in on the favorite.

OP won his bet. Good for him. But was it a fade of the public though? Or betting with the public?  For sure it was a covers forum lost.  Only took 11 WEEKS!

 Any book on the face of this planet can hold a line steady, move it up, or move it down for any reason they desire. They could move a line just to fook with sharps or the common Joe. If you think books are honest and going to let you figure out what they're doing over the long haul or why they moved a line - you better find another hobby if you don't want to lose your mind or your quid!

 If you follow the line movement up or down assuming the money is doing this or that all year long - you will be lucky to have a 50% winning % which equals losing money in this business. IMHO, line movements mean nothing. It's just a way for the books to attempt to get money where they want it. Following this philosophy is just too easy in a not too easy business.
