You know it's football season when you come and check out covers to see how everyone did for the first week. Usually about 2 of every 50 threads contain any actual talk about football, and it looks like that statistic remains true as the conversations are usually arguments about nothing at all. Guys come on here and spend an enormous amount of time posting research for the games ahead only to get bashed by the guys that had a bad weekend, or followed someone a little to close. If you don't like the picks guys go do some research on your own. Aren't we all here for the same reason? It's like a blackjack table guys; we are all on the same team trying to win some $$$

I rarely post on threads but I can not believe how people act/think on here. Maybe I am nievee and need to get out more but how can anyone "trash" a guy who shares his picks/opinion on games (and is very good at it) in a message board DEDICATED to sharing your picks/opinions on games?? Phixer and everyone else who contributes picks/views Thank You and keep up the Great writeups and perspective of games.

1st of all, thank you phixer for making a weekly thread instead of having to decipher thru everyone elses BS to find your plays. I've been on covers for about 4 years now and have learned there are only 3-4 cappers that are very good at their skills, you my friend are in that group. Ignore the haters, they are jealous. I for one and im sure many others on this site really appreciate what you do. Keep up the grind my friend and I will see you at the bank. BOL bud

Folks, with the information Phixer gives us at no cost you, you can make life changing money. We should applaud him for being generous with his time and his willingness to continue to share despite the negative comments on a loss. Thank you Phixer, I and countless others appreciate your generosity. Everyone in Covers Land, Good Luck this season and may you take the information you learn from Phixer and other Great Cappers Prosper and share that wisdom to someone out there who may be a gambler and teach them to be a Sports Investor.

Not trying to beat a deadhorse, but Reid calling 2 passing plays with a min left in 1st half from inside his 25 yard line was definitely not scripted. It went against all logic and was just a lucky interception opportunity. Nonetheless, Broncos+2.5 1st half won. Losing that Under was rough though I am sure. As a woman, I very much appreciate your insight and humble approach - not only on your sports investments, but also your views on life in general. So, thank you for that! Try to remember that there are many 'younguns' on here who have yet to mature, so you just have to let those idiotic comments roll off your back.

I need you to know that what you do in this stupid little forum means so much to so many of us. I suppose I can't speak for others, but I know I look forward to checking covers every day, for the picks of course, but maybe just as much for brief glimpses you give us all of what lies beneath the murky and powerful exterior of "the shield". When I used to see weird things happen in games, I'd raise an eyebrow, contemplate it a little, but in a few hours, it would all be forgotten. Now I look at the games through transformed eyes: Eyes that know of the strings being pulled behind the scenes and the many agendas of the powerful. I have begun to expect the unexpected, so long as it fulfills the needs of Vegas or the league.
You are firing on all cylinders right now. I know it's early, but your read on every pick so far has been spot on. Do not allow yourself to get sucked into the BS that the losers who represent 5% of your thread posts hope to pull you into. I don't know for sure why you share such well-thought out and valuable information for free, but I think you truly do like to help your fellow man. Don't let a few tormented delinquints with twisted agendas and a seeming desire to destroy anything good, stop you from spreading the thrill and excitement that so many of your readers get from reading you.
Look beyond the losers, only acknowledge true fans. If you stick to the business of keeping us informed and entertained in the way that only you can do, nothing will stop you.

Phixer, I have read through this and your week 1 thread, lots of good stuff here. I appreciate the well thought out analysis on your selections. I am making the transition from systems player to capper (mostly bet baseball). Have never fared well in football so the insight I receive from you and 1 other capper I follow on here has been very educational.
I have handicapped my own games for both weeks and have only played the games in common with you and the other capper that I respect for. Have gone 8-1 so no complaints.
Sad that people have to come in here and be negative. I've had some of that over in my system threads. Power through and ignore them.
