Buffalo opening the new Highmark Stadium and I would expect that place to be absolutely insane. They’re coming off that back-and-forth game in Houston against a very good defense and Josh Allen looked ridiculously good. Just so much offensive firepower on that side.
Detroit on the other hand nearly gave away a 21-0 lead at home against New Orleans and needed OT to get out of there. I do think they’ll be better offensively tonight though. They know they’re going to need points and probably points in bunches to hang with Buffalo.
The two missing offensive linemen worry me some, especially if they get into obvious passing situations, but I don’t see Detroit coming in here trying to slow this thing down.
I actually think Detroit gives Buffalo a mountainous effort tonight and this could be close, which is why I don’t love the side...
Going against one of my normal handicapping rules here because I hate playing Overs this high....
Weather looks perfect. New stadium. Electric crowd. Two offenses that can score quickly....Primetime game... If this stays competitive I think we see points all night.
Had the Under in Buffalo/Houston last week and that damn thing almost went Over in the first half. ?? Buffalo won't slow down tonight and Detroit will need to be aggressive to match serve...
If you like offense, this is probably the game to watch...
