Denver Broncos @ LA Chargers

It would take a day to write my thoughts on why I hate the Chargers in this matchup, but this is easily their worst spot of the year for them. I’m making Broncos my best play of the season as I think the wrong team is favored in this game. I got Denver -1 on a true line,  and barring multiple turnovers or 14 points from special teams which yes can happen at any time, Denver should win this game – and I’m going to bet big that they do.
 
Philadelphia Eagles @ New Orleans Saints

Love the Eagles this week. The Eagles are an inexperienced team that has been getting everyone’s best game all season. However, this is the first time they will be back in the underdog role all season. Something this team successfully rode through the playoffs to a Superbowl victory last year. Remember the dog masks? This team thrives in this role. My numbers show the Saints being #5 in the league right now, they are a great team, but they aren’t #1 like the new power rankings have them. People think they are unbeatable, the team has 1 legit WR threat and are scrambling to sign old WRs to help out. I know the Eagles are missing some pieces in the secondary, but the unit wasn’t a great one to begin with. The secondary was Philly’s weakness as they were already getting beat deep throughout the season – so I don’t expect drastic differences from the replacements. If it was a great unit then they lost their studs, I would be hesitant – but that’s not the case.

Minnesota Vikings @ Chicago Bears

We were robbed in Chicago’s statement game against the Pats thanks to 14 points on special teams, something New England hasn’t achieved in over a decade. But the Bears have another chance this Sunday night on primetime against a great opponent. Very high on the Bears this year, they are extremely underrated because of the fact that Trubisky is hard to trust and the average fan looks at the QB and the offense. But their defense is second to none in the NFC and can lead their team to victory most nights, especially when playing at home. I don’t like fading great coaches like Zimmer off extra rest to prepare, but I’m going to do it here because I love the Bears in this matchup. Chicago can finally make their claim that they are a contender. I like this team to win their division and have a home playoff game this year and they are better than the Vikings in my opinion.

I like it, but with such an inflated spread, the Eagles ATS is still a better bet

Eagles have had 4th easiest schedule out of all of NFL, and yet they still have a losing record.

Philly is going against a worst pass D, but tougher run D.

Saints have better pass O and a much better rush O.

also re: Chargers / Rams people are not considering the Wildfire impact.  Players have homes and families to worry about/manage. I am sure coaches have made exceptions for practice so players can attend to personal matters.  My point, is the fires are a distraction and I think will see it as part of the results of this weekends games for Chargers and Rams (I am also on KC +4).

Loving the picks LC!  I 100% concur about the Saints.  They are not the best team in the league.  Overrated asf.  Bears playing right now as the best team in the NFC.  I just pray and hope inexperienced Mitchy won't fall apart on us soon.  Nagy has done an insane job bringing a QB friendly offense to a mobile QB in Mitch.  Love seeing some of the Chiefs offensive philosophy in Chicago.  And being a Niners fan there's nothing but love for Vic Fangio.  That defense is tried tested and true.  Cannot believe people actually think the Vikings D is better.  Could easily see the Bears walking out of the NFC to the Superbowl as long as Mitch doesn't fuck up and Nagy doesn't put a baby leash on Mitch as well.  After all the dude learned from Reid and might do the play it safe and let the defense beat you schtick come playoff time.

On the other side of the coin....could the fires be of motivation to the players especially since this game is now at home? Remember, for every angle there is a countering angle. You knew that though......again, it’s great seeing you back in action after last week.

Bears playing as the best team in the NFC right now after beating the Jets, @Bills, and Lions. Those teams are a combined 9-20 (all losing records). Bears point diff a +58 in those games.

Saints played the @Vikings, Rams, and @Bengals. Those teams a combined 19-8-1 (all winning records). Saints point diff a +57 in those games. 

Bears playing the best in the NFC while the Saints are overrated. Makes sense. Makes lots of sense.

Yeah after a deep study I have the Saints smoking the Eagles. That Dallas game exposed the Eagles IMO Dallas will lose in Atlanta in the early game to prove my point Dallas is not a good offense except when they play Philly. I do agree with your other plays as I usually am on the same games as you I’m not a poster but I do chime in I think most times I posted in your thread that I disagreed with one of your plays I’ve been correct BOL
