Could'nt have said it better myself. My local has it as +6' now and Im going to wait and see if I can grab +7' and pound it.

The problem with your analogy is that roulette is a random event, and it is POSSIBLE that superbowl winners in week 1 are not - or at least LESS random than a roulette spin.
The two do not equate, you cannot make a comparison.
I am not a trend guy, most of them are correlation without causation (like a series of roulette spins) - people try to find patterns in random statistics all the time - but you cannot immediately discount the possibility that there is SOME causation with that trend until you properly analyze.

1.) We don't know what would have happened had Brady been healthy. The last time the Steelers played them they embarrased them. And Brady couldn't have saved them.
2.) As for the Tennessee coment, do you remember 2004 at all? In that year, the Steelers thumped NE in the regular season. However, when they met in the playoffs, the Patriots got the last laugh. A regular season win does not guarantee anything when you meet again in the playoffs.
So please bring better stuff to the table, and thanks for serving our country. Get home safely... ![]()

The Steelers D is the best, hands down, in the league. That's why people talk about them. Tennessee's D was also very good last year. But not as good.
The fact is, you can't use last years game as a barometer because it was last year, and the Steelers obviously did not play as good a game as they usually do. It was an aberation. Do you know what that is? Even the best teams have bad days. That was a bad day at the office. Don't count on it happening again. That said, I do believe that 6 or 7 may be too many points, but I'm still staying clear of this one. Pit could easily win by 7 or 10.

good thread. not to many idiots.
small play on titans. +6.5 or +7. as the public is moving in on the steelerz. its just to many points against the best AFC team last year. reg season. i'd even BUY IT OUT to +7.5 making it more extreme.
