You see where i am getting at. You are blaming him bc of the timing of the fumble. You fail to see Lamar is just as much at fault as the coaching staff as going for it so early. If they never went for it the first time Bascially you would be calling lamar a piece of shit. So many factors leading up to that play. You also fail to consider that the Bills still had roughly 96 seconds left and 1 or 2 timeouts. you are telling me Josh Allen and the Bills would not be able to get roughly 35 to 40 yards for at 48 to 52 yard try. Bass first attemp at 50 plus was good at 60 so Ravens would stll have lost the game. This is assuming they do not run back that kickoff

Last 7 weeks, Tucker barely kicked any FG...no trust in him. But he did cost them in almost all their losses...3 misses vs Philly, 2 misses vs Pitt, 1 miss vs Clev...all losses. He's just not clutch anymore. I never said he wouldn't be in the Hall, but he's washed up and his confidence is gone. Even someone with dementia can see that.
I'm not pumping up Bass, but they would have probably had a 30-40 yarder to win at the end of reg. Very makeable for any kicker.

The facts are Buff didn't need to do shit. How many points did KC score in the 2nd half of last year's AFC Champ - none...because they didn't need to. I feel like I'm talking to a child having to repeat myself. Bills used same strategy and were never tied or trailing so Buff didn't have to do anything. For anyone who watches football, you could see their conservative game plan. Why are people so focused on Buff's lack of scoring in the 2nd half. Bottom line is they scored enough - 6 points....just like KC scored enough last year in the 2nd half - ZERO points!!!
Ha, I agreed that OPI was a weak call (read my post), but still only a 4 point swing. And you fail to talk about the phantom hold. Buff would have been 1st and 10 at the Balt 39 at a point in the game where they COULD NOT STOP Buffalo. They didn't stop them all first half. So at best you have 20-10 at half but more likely 24-10 at half. So the script would have been the same. Those calls evened out.
Who cares if the fumble came after the drop. That fumble is all on Lamar....as i said, trying to play backyard ball. Balls get slick this time of year...not like in Florida where you grew up. Ya, definitely 2 sides to every call. Just like you can argue that the PI call was correct and the defender impeded his route without turning back to face the ball. As I said, I think it was a weak call, but these calls basically evened out. To say one was obvious and the other wasn't is the definition of BIAS.
Either way, you get a 21-10 halftime score. And Bills scored enough points in the 2nd half to win. People can debate whether it was Bills being conservative or Ravens playing better. Probably a bit of both, but to assume Ravens could just stop Bills at will if it was 27-27 and Bills had 1:30 left is a bit of a reach...
Balt only scored 7 in the 2nd half against Pitt last week because they didn't need to put any more points up. Pit outscored Balt 14-7 in the 2nd half. Balt punted 3 out of first 4 drives in 2nd half, but nobody would say that Pit stepped up and dominated Balt. Balt played conservative because they had a big lead...very similar to Buffalo last week. If you can't see that, then maybe you don't watch or have played enough football. As I mentioned KC did the same things last year with Balt, and Lamar proved again that he can't win unless he is front-running. Maybe Ravens defense should have showed up in the first half and this would be a different conversation and different outcome, but neither Lamar or the defence showed up in the first half....and here we are again with the Ravens.
