I'm quite surprised its less this week. Surely if the Jets have proved their worth by now they'd be at least -400 again for the same line.
I honestly feel the Colts are generally underrated going into this week and the Jets are overrated..maybe not so much on this forum, but certainly from what I read online on various sports sites whether it be ESPN, yahoo, cbssports...
One site had a full article talking about how the Jets were winning the superbowl..
For the record, I had Jets ML last week, and rolling that 300 I won on the Jets ML again this week. Not b/c I'm a Jets fan or b/c I'm rooting for them, mainly b/c I'm a Dolphins fan living in NY LOL.
And if I have to put up with the misery of the unthinkable, I will make sure I make as much money as I can off it.
additionally, the Jets just don't get blown out... lost 2 games this year by more than 8 points... only 3 games by more than a FG...

Colts always have a shot at covering a spread... but from a capping standpoint, there is not way to argue that the Colts are the right side in this game... none!
I have lost 3 units against the Jets, hardly something to cause an alert. I like the way the Jets play and have had some questions about Indy covering spreads all year long. That being said, I just think this is a bad matchup for them because Indy will get some TD's. Manning is a surgeon and will find some open holes, especially after reviewing some of NYJ tendencies. I just think the Jets won't make as many big plays and will not be able to just run up and down the field. As for the bold text, the argument for either side is to cover is still 50/50.
The colts secondary is below average. Bethea, strong safety, screwed up his back last week. The corner, Hayden, has not made a good play since their Superbowl win. The all-pro safety is out. If either jet running back gets to the second level: touchdown.
The colts front seven is much better than San diego's front seven.
Im a Jet fan and thoght they would lose last week.Its hard to predict ,a team like the Chargers would overlook any team like they did last week,especially when the Chargers havent won anything latley ,hard to handicap a game when the feild goal kicker misses three of them.Hard to predict a team last 11 games outscoring them in 1st quarter 86-14 .Hard to predict a team with such a young low scoring vanilla offense scoring only 17pts and winning, can all this go there way again??
I feel they would have a shot this week against any other team but the Colts. Colts got there rust out last week ,Colts have been hearing the word JETS for the last 3 weeks,they are well aware they put the Jets in this position and besides this being for the Championship ,this game is personal to the whole organization, Manning tHe most,

The Colts will not be making these mistakes,no one is more prepared and gets his team more ready than Manning and the Colts . This is why I cant honestly say the Jets even have a chance in this game. I think the point spread is Vegas being smart as usuall,They got people betting the Jets where normally a game like this would be lopsided on Colts side. Gotta believe home field advantage will be minimal w/ the ticket availability for this game. Just heard from some friends in Fla who are flying out for game who basically stole tickets on stub hub at ridiculous prices. Unreal, gotta think there will be a number of Jets fans making the trip. This place is like a morgue as it is I wonder how lack of demand for tix will affect things...pretty sad how the team with the greatest regular season QB in NFL history has a hard time moving tickets for a game of this magnitude. One thing's for certain it will be like a Jets home game in Miami if they pull it off!

I agree. BTW...the Colts defense is 2nd to LAST in the league on 3rd down conversions. Jet's running game will leave them manageable distances.

This game will be a Jets cover or a late devastating pick 6 by the Colts. I do not see this game getting out of hand but could easily see a late score by Indy ruining the Jets parade to the SB.
