my bet card is what matters, and not covers.com
 
I do not and will continue to not post ALL of my picks on covers.com because it is not the center of my world and again, the bet card counts 100% more than Covers.com.  I work, and I am also a student.  I am not glooed to a football forum like yourself.
 
dcarpe, you truly cannot read.  All picks that involve spreads will include the spread next to the team name.  Thus, assuming NE wins tonight, I am 6-5 for week 2.  Period.  Covers.com does not change my bet card.

Do you want me to post my soccer EPL bets on here, too?  Or did I not make money on those, either?  And the Netherlands/England/Spain parlay I won on Wednesday?  Did I not win money there, either?  Because I did not post my bet on covers.com?  Did the bookie not take my bet?  Or pay me?  Shucks, guess not.

also, when I cut and pasted my bet card.. did you not notice the table?  with a background color and a border?  can you even make those on here?  do you really think I created html to make those tables just so I could add a win to my record this week on a meaningless forum?  Good lord, man.

Have you not noticed that EVERYTHING you try to throw at me I promptly correct and instead of admitting, "Oh geez, I guess I was wrong,"  you instead try to find something else to pick at in an attempt to redirect your complete stupidity.  
 
This reminds me of a quote I enjoy, "You can't teach a pig how to sing."  This means you can't have an argument with an ignorant person.

I don't really understand why there are people who post negative things here anyway.  It's a free site.  I'm not advertising anything.  I'm not here to lie about my picks.  Do you think I want you to gain trust in my philosophies and then lose your money?    Even if that were the case, what would I acquire from that?
  Give me a break.  I signed up here because I believe it will be a fun ride/season!  If you do not wish to follow my posts, picks, advice, or predictions -- then don't.  Don't ruin it for those who are seeking insight, or a different angle/view of the upcoming week.  Get lost.  To you, I could be 0-130 this year.  All that matters to me are others opinions about my picks, the future, and my bet card.. which clearly states, hang on! let me check one more time... that I'm 12-5.

thank you yet again for only picking one small thing in particular to try to shoot back at me.  you should have quoted the entire section about me pointing this out so that everyone could see what a donkey you are.  You should have a career in journalism.  You take pretty much everything out of context and try to build an argument out of it.

All right Mattrick, this donkey is going to bed.  (I'm old you know, it's past my bedtime).   Those last two comments about me having a cat and being a donkey really hurt.  Why do you have to be so mean to an old man?

I had a great week one 8-2 including this Monday night and missed todays action due to a family matter and I did not come back today and say I did not have time to post, but my picks were all winners based on last weeks efectiveness. Besides you are calling them gimmies . . . why? People lost money on your so called gimmies . . . there are no gimmies in gambling!
 
I suggest you stop answering back and using pathetic excuses and just apologize for trying to get credit on something not posted and post your next thread . . . by the way cappers told you the chances of going 50% today and instead of using it as positive feedback you got defensive . . . JUST SAY YOU ARE SORRY AND SHOW US WITH PICKS NOT WORDS!!

So if I posted 5 of my 6-0 picks in Week 1 on a different forum (was actually a blog) that has a time stamp that clearly shows they were picked two days prior to opening kickoff, would that be enough evidence?
  I would invite you to check out my personal myspace page but I'd rather you did not know anything about me, to be honest.  Those negative-heads out there have ruined it for everyone.  
 
In Week 3, I will post a recap and food for thought.
 
 
I called a lot of those picks gimmes because, well, to get to the point -- New Orleans and Seattle shouldn't have lost!  But they did, so I did too!
 
 
It is reassuring to know that the other half of the posters on here are multi-dimensional and normal human beings that I can carry on a conversation with.
 
As for Sean,
Yes, I picked the Patriots.  Am I breaking some kind of Covers.com rule that I can't simply state that the Chargers are being destroyed and I am laughing at one of my picks? 
 
I'll also be posting "What I've Learned in Week 2 About Covers.com" in my Week 3 segment.
 
 
For those of you out there that had a better week than I and didn't get bogged down by the Saints and Seahawks (and Indy not covering!!!), Cheers to you!

Try to put your arms around this thought: What gain would being a fraud on here get me?  Or if I was lying about all of my picks, late or unposted, what good would it do me now?  Do I win anything at the end of the season?    Fortunately for the BOTH of us, I get another 15 weeks to post here.  When my record blows away any doubt you have, please do not post on my topic.  I love football.  I love sports!

I am not "trying" to get credit for my week 1 picks.  Again, what could I possibly gain out of that?  I was proud of my first week 6-0 record, so my friend told me to start chatting here.  So I did.  I wanted to share my picks, my thoughts, etc.  If you don't want to buy into what I say then move on to someone else and try to cut them down.  Because I'm still going to post and improve upon my account.  (That would be my wallet)
