i can agree with everyone of you, absolutely why not take the for sure thing right? but part of me also says why even do a parlay that your gonna buy out of. you dont get this far in a parlay often right?

i wouldn't worry about the bears tonight... they are in a really good spot. cards have no offense and bears got something to prove at home. bears will easily cover -3.5

if you ever want to make money gambling one of the first rules is dont be greedy and thats exactly what your doing dont be a fool wouldn't you rather be kicking yourself after the game saying damn if i didnt hedge that i would have 4000 instead of 2000 rather than saying damn if i would have hedged it i'd have 2000 instead of minus 20

i agree that if i dont hedge to gaurantee myself profit might be considered stupid, absolutely! but to be called a fool or an idiot is a bit excessive. we have all said at one time or another let it ride and some win and some lose thats just how it is. still got about an hour to decide either way. thanks again for your thoughts and comments no hard feelings

Dude, just hedge. These people that say not to are the same people that rip parlays for being all or nothing and a waste of money. Now that in you're in a position to guarantee yourself a decent pay day one way or the other, you'd be just plain foolish not to.

Throw down a grand on Arizona. Either you're up 1000 or up 3000 at the end of the night -  a whole lot better than being down 20.

You have to let it ride or you're cheating yourself. You knew with the start times that the Bears game would be the last leg and be by itself. You could have just done a 6 teamer, took your profit, and then bet whatever on the Bears game. If you hedge now you are just throwing away juice to the book for no reason.

it's not just pride of the parlay,   if the you don't think the teams you pick in the first place, then why did you bet them anyways.  i am a parlay man myself and yeah it is alot harder to hit, but when you do, there is a bigger reward waiting for you with minimal investment.   i bet just about only parlays and i do just fine, even better than fine.

I love that he doesn't say what he did.  Dollars to doughnuts he "hedged" after the great first half the Bears have going.

The Bears are terrible.  Their OL is perhaps the worst in the league and Cutler is a chucker.  Best of luck, I would love to have the decision that you had to make.
