We've all had this argument before.

My point on hedging is simple. 

Why the hell didn't you just make a 5 team parlay in the first place?!?

In essense, that is what you are doing when you hedge.  You're just turning a 7 teamer into a 5 teamer.  Only you're getting a considerably smaller payout than if you had just made a 5 team parlay to begin win.

If you knew you'd be inclined to hedge, you really shouldn't  have made the initial bet.  Think about this in the future before you make any more parlays.

well just about gametime and with everybody saying bc lions cover tonight i have to ride this one out. at least thru tonight. wish me luck and thanks again fellas. hope to be back on here tommorow to discuss the bears vs cards for the BIG ONE!

Personally, I would hedge to try and maximize walking away with money. I'd rather win much less than 3 g's rather than just break even. But you've come this far.. best of luck brother!

there are not alot of GUARUNTEES in sports betting...  you my friend have an opportunity for a guarunteed $1500 payout right now....

TAKE IT!!!!

place $1500 or as much as you can on the arizona cardinals... make sure you make the spread exactly the same as the bears bet you have and COUNT YOUR $1500.  you just turned $20 into $1500... congratulations!!!!

NO BRAINER   TAKE THE $1500.00!!!

i would let it ride,  it means nothing if you don't just ride it out,   it is a great bet for you so don't spoil it by hedging.   the money is great but that isn't all we do it for,    We love to beat the odds and we love the competition, and we love the satisfaction of doing the improbable.   just let it ride man,  you are going to win,   it is your destiny!

  I'd guarantee at least 500..

   so it's win 500,, or win 2500
             vs
    lose 20 bucks or win 3000
thats just me....   walk away with something,,  and still have the chance at 2500...

hedge for 1K....

1000 or 3000

   vs
0 or 4000
 walk away with at least 1000 and a chance at 3000,,,
you should guarantee something for 6 of 7.....
