the oddsmakers agree with me that the lakers have a decent chance to still win the series, a much better chance than the 6% in history to ever come back from down 0-2
being of the same opinion as the oddsmakers means i know what the hell i'm talking about, lol

The best number I could get the Mavs at is -2.5 so I just bet the ML at -135 instead.
I was leaning Bulls and then I saw you were on it and locked it in. Love the Mavs series play!

Wow, its like reading my own arguments in favor of Lakers winning game 2 at home and I ended up landing flat on my ass. I had all the arguments in the world, including - I am talikng game 2 and not the series - arguing with same MrBator. After dissapointing game 1, and game 2, I was too at first tempted to think - m ust be game 3 - year of Jackson retirement as well as Kobe wanting to equal (impossible) MJ and so and so - NBA wanting more games. Endless and logical arguments besides 3 most important ones - MOTIVATION, ABILITY AND HEART. Gasol is pussified, Odom and Bynum are good next to... Lakers are not hitting Three pointers. If all tyhose factors will change, only then it will be possible for Lakers to win. I am not saying its not possible - but it will be absolutely against what we saw till now. GL

Based on public perception and many diehard Laker fans, they feel that the Lakers can still win.
Based on that, many people are also willing to pay for inflated odds.

Thank you and good luck Bodio!
Any input on O/U for both games?

I'd have to say anyone who's in a fight with a combatant who's sleep-deprived has a pretty nice edge going in.

Bodio, I was a bit surprised to see you on the Mavs tonight. I keep thinking that L.A. has to win one game and game three seems like the best chance they have, add in the fact that the NBA needs the big two teams, Celts and Lakers, to push some ratings, then this is the perfect spot to back L.A. I cannot see them being swept.
