Are you serious?  David Stern personally assigns the refs.  This was the best NBA game I've seen in years, until the refs rigged it.  If you believe the NBA is real, you're an idiot.

The Celtics know they were given this one.  I see them after the game and all of them seem to be unhappy.  Why? Because they knoe they were given this game by David Stern.  take away those two fouls by fantom fouls by Kobe and the domination by Bynum and Gasol inside they lose this game big.

You're hilarious lupe41...did you watch the same game, lol.  I'm a Lakers fan and know that the only reason they were in the game at all was because of the refs.  Without the refs they would have been down by 15-20 points at the half. Im just glad that the team that deserved to win won the game.  I guess the fact that Ray Allen set the record for 3s in a game, or that Rondo had a triple double had nothing to do with it.  I want the Lakers to win, but to do so on their own merits.  Not because they get the calls from the refs and are given 15 more free throw attempts than their opponent.

The beauty of the NBA is that they've been doing this for a long time.  If you let someone shoot 15 more Free Throws, how can the game be fixed?  How about if you take out their best player on touch fouls?  How about Ron Artest's 6 fouls?  That 10-0 run that the Celtics went on with less than 5 minutes to go was due to the refs, end of story.

Thank you RaKeZ for telling it like it is.  They give the Lakers way more free throws to make it look like it's lopsided in the Lakers favor yet saddle key Lakers with foul trouble(odom-3 in 3 min) Kobe(3 in the 1st half, 4th midway thru the 3rd and 5th at the start of the 4th) and then down the stretch the Celtics have everything go their way.  How was that review not overturned?  The ball clearly went off of Garnett's hand.

Im just glad that the team that deserved to win won the game.  I guess the fact that Ray Allen set the record for 3s in a game, or that Rondo had a triple double had nothing to do with it.  I want the Lakers to win, but to do so on their own merits.  Not because they get the calls from the refs and are given 15 more free throw attempts than their opponent.

good analysis,,,,,totally agree with you, diamonds

I don't think anyone here is bitching because of the fact they lost money.  (I happened to come out ahead, because I took the over.)

Everyone is upset that we just saw one of the greatest games in a long time, and it had Stern's fingerprints all over it.

You are both dead on.  Free throw attempts do NOT paint the true picture of this game.  It was ridiculous the way the game was called.  People do not pay to watch all stars sit on the bench.

The problem is in game 1 LA was very physical and stern and the NBA realized this and it opened the door for them to call the sh!t calls they did.  They over compensated for it in game 2.

true... I made money on this "so-called game" that went on tonight... had Celtics & UNDER 200 in a Teaser ... but common 197 pts.. with the amount of fouls called... how obvious !!!!

Boston's entire frontcourt was rendered ineffective by the referees as all Forwards (except maybe pierce) were strapped with at least 4 fouls.

How can anyone deduce that the referees were helping Boston every step of the way.

What I am amazed by his Boston's team offense

Ray Allen went for 30...Rondo got19 but who else brought it for Boston on the offensive end?

Boston clearly did not have the free throw advantage......so how did they get over 100 pts and win this game?

Again, the FT differential doesn't matter.

15 free throws vs not having Kobe Bryant able to play aggressive and miss time and Lamar Odom for most of the game......

    Hmm.........

Then we'll toss in the ball that went off Garnett, Artest's 6th foul...How do the Celtics magically go on a 10-0 Run?  I'd like to know the foul differential/turnover differential during that 10-0 Run.

thankyou, its refreshing to see a lakers fan who analyzes the game correctly and says it like it is..
