Congrats to all the Bulls backers last night.
Here's a look of some of tonight's slate:
Nuggets +5 at Wizards. I get the feeling that a lot of people will be willing to lay the points with Wash under the simple impression "well, there's no way they go 0-5 for the first time in 4o years." But why not? Even with their injuries, the Nuggets are the better team here.
Magic -1 at Knicks. Unpopular home dog #1. I get the feeling the Magic aren't pulling the four game road swing sweep.
Indiana +5 at Charlotte. I think the Pacers still have some value early in the season. A lot depends on Raymond Felton's health in this one.
Spurs -3 at Hornets. Unpopular home dog #2. The Hornets will probably play consistently in line this year with the amount of rest their starters have. They have a day of rest coming in to this one, I don't know if I can recommend them, I don't know if I can recommend betting against the Spurs in general.
Hawks +8.5 at Celtics. Are the Hawks for real? If they can outrebound the Celtics the way they've outrebounded everyone else they can probably keep this game close.
Timberwolves +5 at Lakers. I won't be making a play on this game, but I will be pulling for the T-Wolves to pull the upset so I can play the Wounded Bear Lakers in San Antonio on Tuesday.
Jazz -6 at Sonics. Unpopular home dog #3. Jazz are fun to watch right now, Deron Williams has really established himself. Do the Sonics catch them off-guard here? I doubt it, but I'll think about it.
