Alot of people have rose colored glasses because of who this denver team has faced.
Lakers played a jazz team that would be a 4 seed with boozer and williams healthy. Next they played a rockets team that matches up with them better than anyone else. Denver played NO who are a far cry from the team they were last year, than played Dallas who only made it to the 2nd round because SA offense is terrible without Manu.
You said it best man. But I think Jazz would easily be a 3rd or even 2nd seed in the Western conference when healthy. Lakers -280 for series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would have to agree with the Nuggets supporters: they will steal at least one game at home, and I'd guess cover a point spread in LA. Like Game 1 as well for that reason.
Could go into all the "matchups" discussion, but the reason is simply that the Nuggets are playing consistently at a high level - on both defense and offense. LA will have their hands full.

I think people are not giving the Nuggests much credit, they are going to give them a run for thier money, and they are rested now too! ....amd yes they can run with them, Denver's defense will keep them in the game

I don't think anyone is doubting Kobe's scoring ability in this series. But I feel the Nuggets are going to create just as many problems. Carmelo is one of the best scores in the league, and Ariza is going to have his hands full. Billups turns it up another level in the playoffs, and Fisher is a liability on defense.

The Lakers are going to be a great challenge offensively, it's going to come down to their intensity on defense.
The Lakers should win but I see great value in Denver +250 for the series. If the Nuggets are able to steal one of the first two in LA, I'm loving their chances.
