I predict Lakers in 5...but it very easily could go 6 or 7. I think Denver SHOULD win one in Denver then Lakers close out in 5.

Its fine to sit there and protect your team and stick up for your team but come on bro.  The Rockets are a defensive team.  The series was played like that because the Rockets do have Shane Battier and Ron Artest and other great defenders.  They did not "play down" to the Rockets at all.  The Rockets slow pace of game just did not fit well this the Lakers.

And PG DAD - Kobe Bryant is not goign to win a series liek this by himself. Why? Because this is going to be quick/fast paced games. If Kobe Bryant was to win this series by himself he would need to score 70 a game.  The Nuggets and Lakers are going to run run run run run run run run.  This whole series is going to be played completely different from the Rocket series.


Denver has the speed/skill/talent to run and gun with this Laker team.  The Lakers defense is nothing special.  Youre sitting there acting like the Lakers have the greatest defense in the world and the Nuggets have the worst.  Who is going to contain Chauncey Billups from drilling 3's and penetrating the lane and dishing it off to Nene or Kenyon Martin for a dunk or kicking it out to JR Smith, Carmello, Kleiza for three?


This whole series is going to be about running and gunning.

Abso-fuckin-lutely they do...put it to you this way...I watch almost EVERY Laker game on TV as Ive had the package the last 2 seasons. People who watch the Lakers on a regular basis...they play close games with inferior opponents ALL THE TIME, then they ALWAYS step it up against the upper echelon teams.

It has NOTHING to do with with sticking up for my team...I promise you this. I'm telling you...

DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!! Well, last year was an amazing run...it was a lot of fun, made a lot of money, etc., etc., etc...but, as we all know, they didn't close out the deal. Oh well, still a great season and here we are AGAIN.

There is no 'chest bumpin' here...and no 'drama'.

So, how about that wager on the Lakers-Nuggets series???

I did not say it was impossible for LA to win....I just keep reading LA fan threads about how dominate LA is and it will be a sweep and I think (my opinion) they are wrong.

It will be an interesting series.....Melo is the guy that I am feeling will shine....but the entire Nugget squad is playing just as good as LA is.

No offense, but if the team plays down to the competition on a consistent basis, it's not a good sign.......

Like I just said...after Wins AND Losses you still see me posting in the threads. I won't ever run and hide like those other people that call themselves fans of their teams...

I was thinking more along the lines of a wager similar to the one's that others have made on this site...

Example - If the Lakers win, you put up a Kobe avatar for a month? And you can pick whatever avatar you want for me...

I am from Akron, Ohio (born and raised) so my heart is with LBJ, but Orlando is a scary team with a capital "S"....it would not shock me if they won the whole darn thing.
