Having read Konik's Smart Money, I got the impression that in 1997 (the year he begins working for the Brain Trust) there wasn't much choice as to which 'offshore guy' to wager with. To be able to bet big, you'd have to 'know someone'. Of course it probably wasn't a problem for you with the $200 deposit. Is that book still in business?
It was SBG and it was abot that dont remember if it was 94 or95, I could check with them because I still have an account with them..lol

oh no doubt, i dont overbet on quarters...most i'll do on one of them is 150...and scale down. I trust your thoughts on it but of course cant go out and get crazy on it. Believe me, it sux when you go 4-0 and i bring home 200 on that lol. But thats what i have to accept thats what i can bet. Its all good. I lost thousands in my years in the past cause i bet outta control. Now I keep it simple and win pretty routinely

I usually don't bother reading anything except the picks and sometimes posts that are 1-2 lines long lol

So just to make sure we're clear on this in the future:

1) I hope tinoker can keep this up as long as humanly possible (as long as covers will allow?)

2) Having lost my ASS in the past decade in sportsbetting I realize how rare winning systems are and how much I owe to people like tin - just to barely keep my head above the water level. Tinoker55: Whenever it seems like I might be critical of you, doubting you, pouting about losses - just remember what I said in the first sentence. You're good. Better than I could ever be - even if I bothered to invest my time into proper handicapping - for many years. So I'm just focusing on placing your bets and making the most money while this whole show is running.

3) Shit like 'omg tin always gets better lines' or 'you said under 42.5, I have 41.5, should I still bet it?' bugs me. I'm pretty sure it bugs you too. So when I mock them and clog up the thread, you'll have to forgive me. This forum isn't strictly business to me, it's a little bit of entertainment too. I'm sure you noticed I don't post very often. I wish some others followed the example.
