I have a family too and a business I run, it doesnt take me long to cap anpost these qtr plays, its good to take some time off for yourself and familym im doing it next month for 2 weeks, i wont even have a computer..

I'm pretty sure you would be up 100-150 units if you bet 'with the local' instead of your current setup.

Think he's sayin the if a local is the ONLY book a fella uses there are far fewer lines to choose from and that would cut the profit down quite a bit.

Look guys im not telling you to just tail me, but you all have to make a very important decision if you want to win every week,. Discipline is the 1st and most important thing in gambling, i know guys on here that tail 4 or 5 different guys becuse i see it. there is NO WAY you are gonna win that way, you have to choose if your gonna tail or do it yourself, ive pretty much always only played my own plays for the most part, but on occasion i have tailed people like Investor AJ if iagree with thier slection, Last year i stuck with my plays and ONLY ENJOYS plays and it turned out to be quite profitablem and if I say 5 units take it for 5 or whatever units i post because there is a method to my madness..

I sastared with an online book 16 years ago with only 200 bucks..

You should be able to come up with a better estimate. What I was trying to say is this: a gambler in scenario A hitting 57-58% of his plays will make twice as much profit than a gambler with identical bets in scenario B

scenario A: multiple online books (plus a local or three)
scenario B: just one local who's 'a friend's friend'

making so many bets a week, every half a point is big.... every point is HUGE... just look for any of the vanzack posts about maximizing profit... I'm pretty sure he could spend hours ridiculing Delino, the poor soul who dared to say he was up big so he couldn't be bothered shopping for a better line and thus lost a bet that he could and should have won

finding good bets isn't easy
making them pay the maximum, however, is a job on its own

To list a few that I think are decent:
5Dimes (usually have all the lines, using them currently)
BetJamaica (usually have all the lines, I heard, I will join soon)
BetUs (heard they're good)
BetEd (heard they're good)
Bookmaker ( I use them, decent)
Sportsinteraction (Used them in the past, fast payout)
Pinnacle (Used them in the past, but I don't think they accept US players anymore)

Tin, I hear ya man...ya know, it is what it is. Sure, I can lock up an online book. but honestly, i just like doin things the way im doin them and not get too caught up in it. To give you an idea, when you say 5 units, which im guessing is 500, i'll throw 150 on it. You say 4, i'll do it for like 100....and so on. And i dont get to see all of your plays so ya know, like most, I do my best to manage things.

Trust me man, when im in the Bahamas, i wont miss this one bit! hahah...hopin to be up 400 or 500 goin into friday so I have some loot waiting for me next week lol. Gonna be a blast down there, cant wait to get away from the 30 degree temps here

Mugsy im not sure if that was a shot at me or not lol...point is I totally respect what Tin does, and some of the others...and i take it for what its worth. If i get beat cause my line is off from his or someones, i cant complain. And I didnt. I laughed about it that the one number 49, came in to beat some of us. Sure, could i make the time, of course. Do i want to? Not really. And if that means i wont win like Tin or others, thats something i can live with. Because i cant afford to lose as much as they could possibly lose...well i could...i just dont want to

But seriously, is this the exact year?

Having read Konik's Smart Money, I got the impression that in 1997 (the year he begins working for the Brain Trust) there wasn't much choice as to which 'offshore guy' to wager with. To be able to bet big, you'd have to 'know someone'. Of course it probably wasn't a problem for you with the $200 deposit. Is that book still in business?

Oh ok when you put it those words, you are absolutely right, thats why over the years iv aquired multiple books by listening to what great cappers iv efollowed said to do, ala Invest, he preaches non stop about the importance of this as well as discipline and money management..It took me alot of yearss to learn the right way to place my bets and understand line and juice movement, its hard for me to explain exactly how i come up with these plays except by saying in general that i have a real good feel for why they put the line where they do and why they move it, sometimes its just a gut feeling, im not gonna lie, but im very lucky to have that i guess you could callit a gift idk, but i can look at a line and tell you that morning if its gonna go up or down sometimes.Ill try to simplify my so called system one day and try to explain the general details to you guys someday, but tonight im ou. good night and GL guysm see you tommorrow, will update my record then,,

The best thing to do is set a $$$ amount for your unit and bet it that way..

Tin, just curious, i have access to most of the major onlines and i have been following for  a while, ty again for your work. where did u get the 49.5? i want to sign up.  i checked about 15 online books histories  and all i saw were 48...whole bunch of 48.5 and a few 49s.  Your book seems to be always a half point or so in your favor.  would like to get onboard
