First of all, let me be clear that I really enjoy characters like Sammy. The lad is obviously full of verve, enthusiasm, exuberance, and confidence (not to mention has a good nose for the games), and you have to at the very least somewhat chuckle at some of his colourful (both literally and figuratively) write-ups. The only thing I would point out, however, is, a little humility surely isn't a bad thing, no?. That said, I know it's a capping forum and it's all about the $$$. I suppose I'm a bit old school, in that I've always felt the real 'winners' were always bestowed with at least a modicum of said character trait (again, absolutely nothing wrong with confidence, which Sammy has in Spades... hmm Sammy Spades, new nick?) but I think a lot more people would appreciate said Sam Spade Jr's self-proclaimed Messianic status if the lad showed a little more of said humility trait on occasion. Anyway, my two cents.

Good Morning guys. really weird game last night. At the half I was ready to give up, they were down 10, and seem lost without Kobe, but that zen master Phil Jackson must have sprinkled a few choice words cause they did shine bright in that third quarter, anyway they broke down and shut down in the final 5 minutes of the game, when Carmelo is knocking down three's you know it is not your night, but only losing by 2 points in Denver without your star player ain't too bad, just a few comments on how this unfolded, what the hell was Shannon Brown thinking when he got the last rebound? man take your time, dribble the ball out, call timeout, don't just throw it up in the air for Fisher to have to jump high to get it, while Billups is right there, not a smart decision, and do you really feel comfortable with Derek Fisher taking the last shot of the game? why not pass it in the paint to Gasol, or give it to Odem, I would not have let Fisher take that dumb long range shot to win it, and he got it blocked as well, If I had known Kobe wasn't going to play, I obviously wouldn't have made the bet, but hey that's what you get with a week left in the regular season, coaches being coy and not telling the other team a guy will sit, but hey 500 is not going to bury me, I will be more careful which game I play this late in the season, I am not feeling it when I play a game, only to find out hours later, the guy will rest, p.s. why would Kobe want to rest against the Nuggets and then play tonight against the lowly T-Wolves? to me that is weak, be a warrior and play the team that will give you a game, not rest and then come back to play in Minnesota, anyway I will look closely at the games this evening and choose one where both teams have something to play for, I can not wait till the playoffs, I will shine and shake and explode and explore the valleys and depths of all I got and all I am! I am a freelance writer and I always wanted to tell my story, so thats how this journey began, in due time when the book is complete I will tell the guys here, please I would appreciate that you keep this in confidence and keep it between us, as it is nobody's business, and for the record I do bet each game I play on here, and the unit size as well, no matter if its my money or someones else s really makes no difference, I am here to win games and help others.
