only issue I see here is the history between these 2.  When they play its generally a blowout for either side.  so, adding the ML like you did is the smart play.  lets just hope Orlando is the right side and not fat and happy after that roadie getting the 2 big wins.

Funny enough, I was going to come in here and post a thread backing the Spurs tonight. I have not been on here for a few days. Completely missed with the Mavs pick a few nights ago, but JJ Barea being a last minute scratch hurt. Still, won't use it as an excuse because the Kings came out to play, and Dallas looked old and slow against the athletic Kings, who must have gotten a boost of confidence from their outing against the Warriors, where they should have won. 

Not to be a party pooper, but I don't like the Magic tonight. Nor do I like the Jazz. And the Rockets game is problematic because, as LC mentioned, Ariza is in the lineup for Washington. The reasons for backing the Spurs here are the following:

1) The team has actually improved its play over the last two weeks. Yes, their road record is/was horrible, but this team now has confidence and is playing better ball. So I''m not sure that road record applies to them here. 

2) The Spurs are a vengeful team, and under Pop they never forget a loss, especially on their home floor. So I doubt they will look ahead in this spot and/or overlook the Magic.

3) The spurs are coming off a long home stand, so they are even more rested and ready than the Magic, who are coming home after having been on the road for a week in a foreign country. That scenario does not sound appealing to me.

The only thing the Magic have going for them tonight, is the star out theory. But that star is such an important part of who they are and what they do that I'm not sure it is such a good thing.

The play here is the Spurs -3

I also don't like the Jazz because the Warriors actually laid an egg last time out and they still beat the Jazz in Utah. The Jazz played out of their minds, and the Warriors messed around and somehow got the win. Having almost lost, I think the Warriors will come ready to play. Also, this team plays better, and with less pressure, on the road than at home these days. Remember what they did to the Bucks on the road? I think the Jazz might jump out in front early, but the Warriors will come back and eventually win the game. Nonetheless, I'm less confident in this play than the Spurs, so I don't recommend anything here.

Actually, I’m not. Not yet anyway, and l won’t bite unless I get a great line. I’m tellin’ ya, I’m still bruised from that Jerebko tip-in from two months ago. Donovan Mitchell personally ruined that evening for me by shooting 0-7 in the 4th quarter and 7-23 overall.

Hi guys.

 

The 3 points shift is prob accurate.  They have not had a home game in a week or more ( last game Mex City )  

 

I still like the play at +3.  If you locked already on a pk then just grab your popcorn and focus on your handicapping skills

great info in here guys GL but something that hasn't been mentioned about this game is this will be the Magic first game since returning from Mexico .. I don't have the numbers but I know teams playing their first game after returning from China have done miserable ATS in that first game .. I can't imagine teams playing their first game after returning from Mexico have a great ATS record .. I am not sure how often or for how long the NBA has played games in Mexico but does anyone have the record of these teams that played in Mexico and return for the first time? the montezuma's revenge angle can be ugly

I like this call .. nets have been on fire lately. They are on a back to back after beating and covering against the Lakers yesterday. I’ll probs my be on the nets. 

I like the Houston call. For Washington they beat the Lakers at home then I think they got caught looking ahead to the Houston game when they lost to Atlanta. But I’d still take a Houston team that is on fire at home and looks to be turning thinto nhs around. Not sure ariza makes a big difference

Made sense BeginnerBoy.  Just one thing you could be overlooking Utah has cleaned up their game as did SA, so shouldn't

they get some credit and tough to ignore home dogs play well as bettors don't give them a chance to beat the champs, the 

mighty Golden State warriors who are actually just coasting looking quite ordinary and not so super-human as in the past.

I agree if you're not sure to play GS and give the 2.5 then avoid the game, on the other hand i do like the Jazz playing as a

team with alot of defensive energy pressing offensive rotation not giving up anything easy inside.  Just like SAC getting 4.5 at 

home to OKC.

SA -3

BKN -1.5
