I will take Gasols line in both games so far over Howards.

Howard has done a good job finding open shooters though. It is not his fault they aren't knocking all of them down. I thought going into this series that that was the one thing he needed to well and he did a pretty good job in game 2 especially. As for losing the ball so many times in the paint, a lot of those were bad no calls and I think he will get to the line more at Amway arena. If you watch a replay of that "held ball" that got called between him and Odom and you think that was a clean play, you are nuts.

This is Kobe and the Lakers we're talking about. I do think this series has a good chance of going back to LA but no way the Lakers drop 3 straight.... Kobe simply won't allow it. Ok nba fan ill lean your way in the argument for right now. But do you honestly think yao will have a better CAREER then howard overall? I mean yaos teams havnt done shit in the playoffs and hes been around longer. Howard already has his team in the finals at a younger age.

Sometimes when i see this guy on the floor or on the bench he has a dazed look on his face.. I just dont know how hard he will work in the offseason to improve his game.
and by the way... I'd be willing to lay money on the fact that whoever Orlando's GM is would take YAO in exchange for D12 anyday of the week/month/year... as long as Yao no longer competes internationally for China.

It is hard to compare East and West like you said and no one should even bother doing it. The West has teams like Golden State, Phoenix, and the Clippers where Footloose came true but with defense being outlawed. I can't think of any East teams that are similar except maybe the Pacers and Knicks, and that is mostly due to the fact that they are just bad. Phoenix, the Clips and Golden State have never had defense. The Pacers and Knicks used to be the best.

the lakers played pretty bad today and orlando still somehow managed to lose the game... in the start of the game the momentum was clearly on orlando's side but they made very stupid decisions on offense. I liked that lineup with Gortat and D12 but JJ Reddick should of had his ass on the bench and they might have gotten somewhere..
