1 down, 2 to go in orlando. And now lakers fan i will not run and hide if they dont get it done. Keep in mind man i have backed this team all year and said that they could get this far. Nobody believed it. So regardless of what happens i can feel good about this. So far 1 lopsided game and 2 close ones. These are even teams. Its about the names on the jerseys with these 2 and its obvious. But again NOBODY gave them a shot to go anywhere and they are competing for a title. Lets go get game 4!!
Predicting a team to win EVERY game in the series is definitely "homerism"...and that's exactly what you've done. No way around it. Sure, they won Game 3...I predicted Orlando would win Game 3, but, win all 3 in Orlando??? C'mon...like I said, try to be a little more realistic and objective.
So the Magic play as well as they could possibly play...they set an NBA Finals record by shooting 63% from the field, Kobe has an off night (aside from his amazing 1st quarter), and the Magic STILL struggled to pull off the victory. The game was tied with a minute left...that should tell you all you need to know right there.

Lakers, what about game 2 when the magic made every mistake possible and still should have won? We keep talking about the magic shooting 63% in game 3 and barely winning but they didnt shoot alot of 3s

And i predicted them to win these 3 HOME games, not every game in the series. You know, this is my mark messier guarantee ( he was a hockey player i dont know if your familiar with that in la). What do you want me to say? "The magic will get swept at home?"

they shot 63% or something from the field for the game and they still could have lost the game at the end. There is something terribly wrong if your team shoots that well from the field and still only wins by 4. lets see if orlando could shoot lights out two more game in a row.
second.
kobe will not shoot that poorly from the line again... that basically cost them the game.
third.
With the game 3 Orlando win, LA’s homecourt advantage is threatened. Something Phil Jackson constantly preaches to his players about. Remember, Phil Jacksonsent this message to his team when he declared after the Game 4 no-show in Houston in the second round that "as long as we have homecourt advantage, we'll be alright."

I think Orlando is done. Kobe can sense how close he is right now to that elusive fourth ring. The Lakers can feel it at this point. I don't think they want to take any chances of fucking it up on Tuesday in Game 3 after tonight's close call.
Yah, shooting an NBA record 62% and winning by two baskets doesn't bode well. On a night when Kobie missed free throws and finished poorly. Miami 06? I think this series mirrors Celtics-Lakers last year... game 5, Lakers. They close out at home in game 6.

Now I know you're a homer, but, geez dude...you've fallen off your rocker in this thread. You are CLEARLY not being one ounce objective in here...
The Magic will win the next 3 in a row??? You really can't even be serious...I mean I can understand you praying every night that it happens, but, to say with a straight face that they WILL win the next 3? Dude, you are completely nuts. I have some questions for you:
1) How many times has Phil Jackson lost 3 in a row in a playoff series?
2) How many times has Phil Jackson lost 3 in a row in a playoff series after leading the series 2-0?
3) How many times has Kobe Bryant lost 3 in a row in a playoff series?
4) How many times has Kobe Bryant lost 3 in a row in a playoff series after the Lakers led 2-0?
5) How many times in the history of the NBA Finals has a team down 2-0 come back to win 3 in a row (aside from the refs and D-Wade over the Mavs a few years back)?
C'mon Osirus, at least make a little effort to be objective and not be such a homer... Personally, I could definitely see Orlando winning 2 of the next 3, but, that's perfect for the Lakers because then they come back to L.A. only needing to win 1 of 2 at home for the NBA Championship. I think Orlando winning 2 of 3 is easily the most likely scenario of any over these next 3 games...I give Orlando winning all 3 games ZERO chance, I give the Lakers winning 2 of 3 and closing it out in 5 games a slight chance, and I give the Lakers closing it with a sweep very, very little chance as well. Orlando will win 2 of the next 3, definitely the most likely scenario by far.
Now pull your head out of your ass and at least make an attempt at being objective. I look forward to your answers to the 5 questions I've asked above...
That was too easy...
Alright "HOMER"...so what's up now?

You preach objectiveness?? That's just too funny. Don't get me wrong, it's o.k to be a fan and you might not be as much of a "homer" as some of the others but.....
P.S I was on Lakers and under tonight and I felt extremely lucky!!

You say that was too easy? You are a waste of space lakersfan. Do you watch sports? Your a complete idiot. I wrote i was wrong already but you saying this was "too easy" makes everything you say a waste. The lakers are a small notch better than the magic. Thats it.
