damn,now thats wat i would call crushing it!!!!!!!......as i said originally scalabrine-respect for your contribution win OR lose....clearly it is a s h i t-load of time and effort involved in putting forth such a write-up and a large set of testicles to endorse it with such confidence...result says "yea im pretty sure you're on the right side"......massive appreciation for sharing,dunno if you better at analysing the spot or selling it,gotta lot of fortunate folks in here to buy in to a mediocre squad.haha...but they aint the WORST in the league,dats all dat mattered

Thank you all! I really appreciate the kind words. It's nice to see time and effort pay off for everyone. Like the Jets game, there wasn't much to sweat here at all.
It will be a long time before see another spot like this in the NBA . Really, this shouldn't have been here. Knicks shouldn't have lost to the Pelicans (Davis gets injured and they rally) to extend the streak and I never would have dreamed Kidd would have dismissed Frank like this which played a role in disrupting this team more than it already is.
Those guys have been through a lot together. But many have said, you cross JKidd and you pay the price. Byron Scott can attest. Lawrence Frank can now attest. He walked out on Mark Cuban when he departed for the Knicks. He even broke his son's collarbone diving for a loose ball and continued on with the play after he did it!
Well, now it's coming back to him.
The Nets lines will be going way up. Losing at home by 24 and 30, respectively will make that happen.
No post in the NFL this weekend (and nothing tonight). Spent too much time on this game and haven't even studied the card.
We make money the old fashioned way.
We win it...gambling...

Great write-up on Friday AM, so I missed the W, but from my angle in Minneapolis, home of the Timberwolves, your Nets club is a comic book. New York deserves better basketball, all the state has right now is the Orange. The Russian is tanking the season, that is why he hired Kidd, he does not care how bad it looks, They will get the #1 pick, which is all he wants. Garnett and Pierce will end up somewhere else, Deron Williams, hurt or not, should get sent to Moscow and 6 years of hard labor, such a sad sack of talent. Still hate the clown for what he did to Jerry Sloan.

Nets traded their 2014,2016,2018 first rounders picks to the Celtics. (Oh and most of the second rounders are gone too in deals for guys like Mehmet Okur).
Worse, in 2015 and 2017, Nets have to swap their pick with Atlanta and Boston respectively if the Nets picks is higher, and this swap has no lottery protection!
So effectively, for the next 5 drafts, there is a 0% chance the Nets could end up with the #1 pick (or even a very high one if worse than both the Celtics and Hawks).
Dark days have returned to this franchise.

Scal, congrats and thank you for posting these plays, you are right its gonna be long time before we get a mistake like that by the oddsmakers again. Any thought on the Knicks tonight, I think we should see the same as last night, that win from last night has made the knicks feel good about themselves again and I wouldn't be surprised if they go on a winning streak of few games before Vegas adjusts their lines. Tonights line seems way too low, what do you think???

Honestly, I haven't looked at the this game enough to make any recommendation. There was no lookahead game for me after this one.
The line I am awaiting is Nets Bucks tomorrow night and after these two games it is possible the Nets may be getting some points here. I'm really gonna eyeball that game because the Bucks are on the Nets level and the Nets just lost two games consecutively at home by amounts that rival any loss margins in their history.

Knicks can ALWAYS let their fans down. They have 4 wins and probably feel like they are world beaters right now.
But look at the box score last night.
melo - 8/12 19 points
jr - 3/6 8 points
Their two primary offensive producers shot a combined 11/18 for 27 pts and they blew the Nets out by 30.
Woodson, Melo and JR should take note of that if this team wants to progress.
