Wild will not lose to the Blues. Especially not at home.

They are playing their former coach who is notoriously bad in the playoffs.

The Blues traded away their best defender and are not as deep as the Wild.

The Wild also have an edge in goaltending with Dubs.

Julien doesn’t use the high pressure forecheck — likes to sit back in a deeper 1-2-2
then try and regain the puck in the Neutral Zone rather than in the opponents’ zone.

Lots of these games this season’s Playoffs are going to be won and lost in the NZ.
And surely if the Rags can effectively break out of their zone on the regular,
like they were doing at the beginning of the season when they were scorching hot,
then they have the potential to control the entire series.

Alain uses a high risk strategy of stretch passes + one&done dump exits out of their zone.
Rags struggle to work the puck out of their zone, been that way since he got there.
Why Brady Skjei has been such a revelation for them — his ability to easily exit his zone
= a weight off the shoulders of guys like Girardi and McDonaugh.

Paul Byron & Brendan Gallagher ( 1st forward on the forecheck) super huge for the Habs.
Their speed & relentless attitude can put the Rangers Defense under some serious pressure,
going someway to negating NYR’s speed, esp. in 3rd P. that the Rangers ruled this season.

Squares who think their Sharp are all about deciphering a team's motivation
to continue to play hard, and these "sharp" squares think Boston has plenty
of reason to give a 100% effort in this game.

The Celts are 3-0 against Brooklyn this season, with an average margin of
victory of 9 points, and it's obvious why Boston has taken a bottom-feeder
like the Nets so seriously.  Thanks to a 2013 trade, the Celtics own the Nets'
No. 1 draft pick this season, so there was ample motivation to stick Brooklyn
with as many losses as possible.  But now that the Nets have clinched the
worst record in the league, you might think Boston would let up and use this
game as an opportunity to get ready for the playoffs.

Plus it's real hard to beat any NBA team 4 times in the same season for a sweep.

But there is a greater motivation at work now. Thanks to Cleveland's astonishing
loss to Atlanta on Sunday, the Celtics and Cavaliers are once again tied atop the
Eastern Conference standings with 2 games to play.
But Cleveland owns the head-to-head tiebreaker, so Boston's only chance of
earning the top seed is to win out, and that includes tonight's game with Brooklyn.
But they will not win because they know they cannot beat the Cavs and can use
the lack of home-court as an excuse.

So don't expect Isaiah Thomas, Al Horford, Jae Crowder or any of the other key
Celtics to pedal-to-the metal their feet on the gas tonight. They'll come out with
energy, squash Brooklyn's early attempt at playing spoiler for the 1st Half and
in-game wagers + 2nd Half bets will be losers when down the stretch the lead
they'll lose as the Nets go up in the third and fourth quarters.

The Celtics and Nets may be far apart in the standings, but this is the season
for spoilers, and the Nets team is motivated enough to take care of business,
and we're even getting this huge spread of eleven points !!!
Celtics in a blowout is the public play to fade tonight.

    Clippers ML.

Clips were embarrassed and badly humiliated at home last time by the Rockets on national TV. That's motivating to play hard, plus the playoff implications and the bad history between these teams.

And just who is this dude, Fast Edy Felson?

Edy's the guy who never needed to use the bridge on a Snooker table.

Edy is the MVP — his team finished as the reg. season Champs:
    39-11 = the 2nd best record in D-League history!

He said his Durantula left him
so he could become the RussWest he deserved to be.

The Cavs cut Larry Sanders and instead are today, 12-IV-17 planning to sign
center Edy Tavares to a multiyear contract
[for their Playoffs run’s rim-protection], league inside sources tell.

Edy is 7 foot 3 & one half inches tall,
with a greater wingspan than even Chicago’s own Unibrow.

Walter O'Malley, his relocation thwarted by NY Officials (all put in office by & speaking for NY's Mafiosi) told 'em

SCREW YOU !!  He took the Dodgers to LA, then The Polo Grounds' Giants followed suit, moving on out to Frisco.

NYC didn't get an NL team until 1962.

    Nos. 7 and 8 seed

The Pacers can finish 7th, 8th or out entirely.
Now, if the Pacers lose, then the Heat & Bulls both have tiebreakers,
and both win the three-way ties.

    Here are the scenarios:

        •    If Pacers win, Bulls win, Heat win: Pacers 7, Bulls 8, Heat out.
        •    Pacers win, Bulls win, Heat lose: Pacers 7, Bulls 8, Heat out.
        •    Pacers win, Bulls lose, Heat lose: Pacers 7, Bulls 8, Heat out
        •    Pacers win, Bulls lose, Heat win: Pacers 7, Heat 8, Bulls out.
        •    If Pacers lose, Bulls win, Heat win, Bulls 7, Heat 8, Pacers out.
        •    Pacers lose, Bulls lose, Heat win: Heat 7, Pacers 8, Bulls out.
        •    Pacers lose, Bulls win, Heat lose: Bulls 7, Pacers 8, Heat out.
        •    Pacers lose, Bulls lose, Heat lose: Pacers 7, Bulls 8, Heat out.

There's only one scenario where Indiana is out, but it's a feasible one.

If you're the Heat, you want the Pacers to lose no matter what !
After that you want the Bulls to lose, too, & you must still beat Wash.

NBA Players and coaches have never been so disrespectful
to the ticket purchasers, the paying viewers - both money & time,
    and the league itself.  Dreadful.

But from now on be real careful playing Mariners,
for they're grungy, so they won't care to play harder,
and will lose more that they ought win, and thusly so,
    just like their leader Cano
who takes away boatloads of dough
but has not and will not run to First base
so there's no doubles when the ball is misplayed
    — and the rest of the team follow the "Leader"
and slouch off  like slackers in their demeanour.

If Wiz win they'LL avoid the season sweep by the Heat,
and they'll become the 1st 50 win team since the 70's
when they were known as the Washington Bullets.

Phillies held a team meeting Tuesday in Philly,
after the Mets humiliated them there—
they needed a win in Philly to calm things down in the clubhouse. The game that nite:
    LOSER ==> Phil 4 - NYM 5

[[ Joe Maddon NEVER holds team-meetings at Home,
because Home is your workplace & a meeting there poisons the room. Iff a meetin's nec., then it's held away.

Another MLB pitching debut, White Sox with Dylan Covey.

Covey steps in 5th starter slot, he's stayed sharp during inactivity
at the season's outset, should be prepared & ready for his big night.
He threw twice in Zona during an extended spring & honed his arsenal.

Covey's outta Univ. of San Diego; the A's fourth round pick in 2013,
tho' he doesn’t have an overwhelming pitch, he does bring a diverse
repertoire that includes both a 4-seam and a 2-seam fastball.
He's increased his 4-seamer from high-80s to mid-90s. He relies on it
frequently, but mixes in a sinker that dives into the zone in the low-90s.
When in the middle or behind in the count, his sinker has been shown
to induce ground balls. he has a very sharp cutter that he throws of his
yellow-hammer curve, & changeup keeps bats honest on his fastballs.

    That, my children, is diversity.

This kid invites contact, trusts his defense, has a wide slew of pitches
that force hitters into seriously tough situations.

The West's two best teams, GS & San Ant -
most think they'll meet in the West's Final.

dah Bulls are the only Eastern Conference
team to beat both of them this season.

Sale has most K's thru 150 starts (1,149) of any pitcher MLB history,
according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

He joins Martinez in 1998 as the only Red Sox pitchers since 1913
to toss at least 7 i, w/ no more than 2 runs, K at least 7 in 1st 3 games.

Sale also likes all his Sox uniforms.

RONDO returning to Boston spells a Game5 Loss for Celts.

Zig-Zag in NBA: Because no team has ever come back from a
    3-0 series deficit in NBA history, Rondo had to put on that cast;
during morning-shoot-around Rondo wore no cast, had no pain.

Pub's $ on Bulls too huge, prior to the afternoon announcement.
Jimmy Buckets faked it enough, playing as mandated...

Joe Johnson's 4th Quarter play won the game for Utah last night:
    series tied 2-2.

Joe Johnson (with Deron Williams) got Brklyn into Playoffs.

Sir Charles Barkley said many times that for his money,
Iso-Joe, along with Lou Williams, are the two best
Pure Scorers in the league (2017).

Lou Williams with Harden, Beverly, Gordon, and the
Wizards' Playoffs' backbone of Trevor Ariza teamed w/ Nene
makes Houston the most well-armed w/ shooting amo in NBA.
