Better than every team to play since Jordan left?  You're really swell-headed about this. C's are better than anyone expected obviously.  But no one near that good.  00-02 Lakers would've destroyed this team.  03 and 07 Spurs as well.  Heck, I don't think they'll beat the Lakers, but I'm biased.

i started watching the NBA in 1978... since then i have witnessed 4 NBA teams that i considered to be truly dominant teams, of legendary proportion...

Celtics of the early to mid 80s... Lakers of the mid to late 80s... Bulls of the mid 90s... Celtics of 2008-present...

they lost their dynasty due to KGs injury last year, but you are all about to see that i am right...

and by the way, the Spurs championship teams of this decade represent teams that won because of a lull in the league... there was a serious dropoff in the level of play at the start of this decade...

the 02 Lakers only won the championship because they were given (this is VERY WELL KNOWN) game 6 against the Kings...

that team had 2 superstars, but they had internal strife all the time, and they were never even CLOSE to a truly dominant championship team, and two of the teams that they beat (Sixers and Pacers) represent the single worst teams to have ever made the NBA finals...

right now we are finally back to an era that has truly dominant teams, and the cream of the crop is the Boston Celtics...

and the reason PP was MIA is because... now, i'll slow this down for you because it is OH SO COMPLICATED... when you have 4 legit scorers on your team, and one of them is being hounded by arguably the best defensive player in the NBA, you don't lean on him for your points... you lean EVERYWHERE else...
