"See you all next year".

When you combine these comments with his earlier interview with the intelligent and sexy Doris Burke, where Paul Pierce basically said they were looking to close the series out at home, followed by a cocky wink into the camera for the home fans, this tells me a couple of things:

Boston doesn't feel that Orlando can play with them at all. The Magic have no answer for the Celtics, and the Celtics know it.

I would be absolutely shocked if this series didn't end in a sweep.

What about them Dodgers     I had TT Over 4.5 +125 tonight   They are just dominating that NL West, but they need to improve their record with the East and on the road to compete  for the ring

Situationally, Orlando should win Game 3.

Problem is the Celtics aren't an ordinary team that would fall into a trap in this situation, especially considering they already did once this postseason.

These guys are hungry, good, and having a great time playing basketball although you would not know it looking at Kendrick Perkins. Does this mofo appear to anyone else to be the most pissed off dude on the planet, like all the time? I laugh out loud every time I see his angry scowl plastered on my TV. I wonder what it would take for him to crack a smile.

Barney, it's time to fear another 2008 finals possibility for the Lakers. They'll have home-court this time around, but the Celtics are playing scary basketball. As for the Dodgers, I'm not sure how they're winning, when you look at their roster, it's pretty unimpressive.

 

Andy, you're not kidding about Kendrick Perkins. That's not a happy looking fella, he looks like someone that would gut you in a back alley.

It's like he's talking directly to us and telling us the outcome.

I'm not sure if we should trust him though, check out his comment directly above that one, he thinks they're playing on Thursday.

like I said in earlier thread, this Celtics team are road warriors.  And if you can win on the road, you're a championship caliber team.

situationally orlando should win game 3?  explain that theory or do you have proof or stats/trends. im not badmouthing u, im just curious why you think that.

i would be surprised (not shocked) if it WAS a sweep.  Celts would have to win back to back games to win, using aprox math(even money on each game aprox) that would happen 1/4 times so 25% chance of sweep. I think that math is right im a bit tired lol.

Revenge will be sweet for the Celtics. The beating the Celtics are going to get is way worse than what the Suns are getting! Lakers will murder the Celtics!

There was a quote in the Boston Globe about Perk about 2 months ago. Here it is: With a few minutes left in a Celtics' double digit win, Doc subbed Perk out for Scal or someone and as Perk was walking to his seat on the bench, a fan yelled, Perk, smile for once, will ya." Perk replied, " That's not what I do."     The guys a beast.

This year will truly offer an anomolous circumstance for me. I pray that the Lakers can absolutely crush the Celtics. I am not a fan of Paul Pierce.

Lakers and Boston are 2 teams that know how to handle the NBA-finals. Phoenix got the talent, but not enough power to overcome the Lakers dominating players:Lakers just have too much force.

Lakers vs. Boston for 2010 Championship will be a great match. IMO Boston will have the least  problem w/ LAL compare to: Orlando or PHO.........Boston deserves a fight for this Championship RING. Before the finals: I personally thought Orlando or Cleveland vs. LAkers....wow so much unexpected to see Boston. The only Team that live up to its "stats"---is Lakers. Everyone else....failed!!!!

Orlando history from Det how they dominated us for 5 Years now he opps to Boston to handle Dwight. He had a great game but still manage to be on the losing side once again. 32-0 up 2-0 in aSeries.

BARNES need to be out-Back Spasm. Look its playoffs you need to be at full Tilt. MOving JJ to SG to start him who he has had success against Ray Ray Moving Carter to SF!

As for Brandon Bass! What was the point in spending money on this guy? a True 4 who dosent play at all. Lewis could even move into the 3 moving bass at the 4 to help with KG Sheed and Perkins.

Im just saying throwing my 2cents in if I was a Coach....

road team's covered all six games this year.[ i won a  lot of money on boston.  but i don't believe stan van gundy's the master of panic. he's a damn good coach.  howard played much better.  and van gundy's right.  if howard can combine his rebounding and block shots from game one with his scoring in game two, boston will have trouble with him.  combine that with rashard lewis waking up from his slumber.  he can't have three miserable games in a row.  vince hits some free throws.  reddick, a dukie who obviously didn't get a degree, doesn't call time out.  the only problem with orlando--- VINCE CARTER IS A LOSER!

I think Orlando knows what's coming in game 3 and 4.
