Went 2-3 in the NBA but got all of them back from Local Basketball (PBA - PureFoods!)
Let's bounce back from an ugly Tuesday and get that greens!
Detroit -5.5
I'm seriously chasing the pistons! They slept last night against Dwight Howard and the Magics. They were just slaughtered right after the half time break. Chauncey and the rest of the Pistons owes us a couple of buck and they'll sure to hand it in tonight's game. I think the line moved to -6.5 now. It's still as good as the one I got earlier which is a -5.5. Detroit owned the Bucks twice already this season and sweeping them won't be too far. Detroit is tonight's favorite and so I was cautious at first. Vegas just loves to have everyone's money on the favorite and end up taking their money. I'm pretty sure Detroit won't allow a 2 game blow out to happen. The real Detroit should appear in tomorrow's game. Expect a close first half and watch out for Detroit to pull away from the Bucks in the closing seconds.
Orlando +4.5
The Magics did blew the defending champs! Their confidence is as high as ever after the break and it should continue in tonight's game against the Raptors. Look for Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkoglu to heat up in tomorrow's game. This should be a really good match up and it should be pretty close. Look for the team who can defend the peremeter well as both teams are lethal shooters. Orlando's edge here is that they are extremely effective coming from a 0-rest day where in Tor is 3-4 when playing after a 3+ rest days. Another thing is that Orlando has won most of the games when they have the plus points over the other team.
Los Angeles +4.5
The Lakers is just so good when playing the Suns. Phil Jackson can make use of anyone in the squad to make this team look good when they are against the Suns (and those were the days when they got Marion). Now, Shaq will be playing as he and the Suns hosts Kobe and the Lakers tonight. Kobe is just unbelievable scoring and getting points on that stat sheet with an injured finger. Pau Gasol is just showing a stellar performance night-in night-out for Phil Jackson. He's been this good ever since The Czar brought them to the play-offs years ago. Another chain effect is Lamar Odom's rejuvenated performance. He seem to be playing flawless basketball for the Lakers. Suns should be playing Shaq around 12-20 mins in tonights game and putting Raja on Kobe won't have much of an effect now as different people in the Lakers' roster can score.
Boston -2
Boston should be bouncing off from yesterday's tough game. Look for Garnett to dominate this one as the Warriors don't really have much people who can defend him. Golden State was amazing in the Utah game but wasn't able to do much in the closing minutes whereas Boston is good at. KG will be all around the glass grabbing boards and putting them back in. The Celts is a tough team when playing back-to-back games where the Warriors isn't (7-3 compared to the GSW's 6-6).
Any comments/thoughts?
