Whuddup gents, sorry for the late post. Let's get to it.
NEW ORLEANS HORNETS ML (-125) - - - The Hornets are playing their best ball of the season and in my opinion their best ball in the last 2 years. They desperately needed a player to step up and produce a little bit more for them. That player has finally shown up and that is Julian Wright. A high flying athletic young player who has ability to defend, block shots and take it to the rim. Along with role players like Rasual Butler and James Posey they make up a nice forward roster on this Hornets team. Paul will outplay Bibby, Tyson and West will cause Horford problems. Marvin may not play because of a bad back. Hornets have won 7 straight games and really dominate Atlanta matchup wise. They also remember a bad loss in New Orleans to the hands of these Hawks. They were outrebounded, out-hustled and out-played from the tip. This was when NO was playing their worst ball of the season, a much more tuned up team will exact revenge on the Hawks at home. 12.5 UNITS - - -
DETROIT PISTONS ML (+105) - - - Orlando didn't impress me with their win over Boston. I never would have bet on them if I knew Hondo was out. No Baby, KG and Rondo and Orlando still didn't step on Boston's throat. The Pistons are confident as hell right now. I do think that Prince and Rip will actually outplay Hedo and Lewis tonight. That is the key. I think the big band of bigs the Pistons have will cause problems for Dwight as they did when they beat em in Orlando. Sheed, Antonio, Maxiell, Johnson are 4 big bodies with decent defensive skill, they will cause Orlando problems scoring in the paint. Look for a balanced effort and a Detroit win at home. 10.5 UNITS - - -
CHICAGO BULLS + 7 (-150) - - - Despite Miami's excellent play as of late, this is a game the Bulls actually have a chance to steal on the road. Even though Wade has been playing like a beast I think the guards of Chicago have a chance to actually outplay the guards on Miami. Look for Rose, Gordon, Salmons and Hinrich to score effeciently. Big rotation of Tyrus, Noah, Brad Miller and even Tim Thomas (if he hits shots) will play well. Funny thing is if you look down the rosters, the more impressive one is Chicago. Despite that Wade can change games, it is up to Chicago to actually defend tonight in order to win, I think this will be a close ball game. 10.5 UNITS - - -
PORTLAND TRAIL-BLAZERS + 2.5 - - - Blazers have not impressed me at home lately, but neither have the Lakers on the road. Portland will be pumped for this game, LAL has beaten em twice this season, one without Roy. Tonight Nate McMillan has a gameplan for Kobe, look for multiple defenders to show Kobe different looks. Batum, Outlaw, Roy, Fernandez will all see time on Kobes. This is a huge game for Portland who is fighting to stay in the playoffs. LAL historically eats it in Portland, sold-out Portland crowd can usually get pretty rowdy and Portland is one city that doesn't really have a ridiculous amount of Laker fans so no massive cheers for Kobe tonight. Lakers size scare me, if Gasol is gone then they have no centres...well they have Mbenga but come on now. Prizz and Aldridge will dominate the boards and paint vs Odom as I suspect early foul trouble for Gasol to allow Porltand to gain a lead and never look back. 5.5 UNITS - - -

That is some sweet, sweet action. And I like that observation about the dearth of Laker fans at the Rose Garden. I already see a moneyline as high as +135 here in Las Vegas and the game doesn't tip for another 3 hours!

Damn, you're a convincing cat. You've got me thinking second thoughts about the Magic. Their tentative play during the 4th quarter yesterday was a bad sign, I agree. I'll probably lay off of this game. Thanks for the writeup.

Thanks Mr.Bator, appreciate it. I think the dearth of Laker fans at the Rose Garden may explain the lack of success for Kobe and the Lakeshow in Portland. I mean everywhere they go they have a mass fan base, but not in Portland and a few other cities. I hope this young Portland team is ready for the challange tonight.

like the plays buddy, on the other side of New Orleans and Chicago
your due for a good night
I really like NO but the MIA@CHI game could go either way. Defense is key, if CHI can make stops they have a good chance, if they play defense like they have the last 5 road game, your gonna win that MIA bet. Best of luck buddy.

Bator if your gut was saying ORL I suggest going small on them, entire basis of this game is if RIP and Tay can outplay Lewis and Hedo, if they can't I don't see the Pistons winning. ORL is a great road team and has surprised me before. BOL Bator.
