It seems like the guy misses every free throw the exact same way, off the back rim. Why can't he adjust, and just shoot a touch softer?

Refs were cheating hard for the home team, but Salvatore and friends can't shoot the free throws for them, too (although I wish they could have).
glad to see somebody else noticed
Stern had his refs working bigtime for the home team. This is a classic example of a game that is trying to be rigged but still fails. I have said it for years, the players still need to make shots, no matter how much cheating is taking place.

Oh, you meant the Magic are immature. Well, in that case, high-five for you, nbafan88. I'm still in shock. And how about that horrendous rushed 3-pointer Turkoglu chucked when it was 94-91 with 30 seconds left? What in the fuckety-fuck was THAT?

I had the under, too, but then I went and stupidly put 5 more units on the Magic at halftime. What a terrible idea that was.

Now what makes you think they'll make it back to the finals again? Nothing is guaranteed in life, so stop making idiotic statements!

After Fisher hit that three to make it 94-91, Jeff Van Gundy remarked about the NBA players' low IQ in game situations. He was clearly dumbfounded (as were we all) by having just seen Jameer Nelson watch Derek Fisher pull up for an uncontested three. That must have been hard for him to say about a player on his brother's team, but I was glad someone said it.

NBAFAN, you are very correct to a certain extent. Lack of experience did have a huge role in why they blew this game. However, as I posted in my thread, rafer alston mised a wide open layup to bring the lead to 14 right away to start the half, then lakers come down and score. 4 point swing. Alston missed 2 more bunnies that qt, howard missed a bunch of bunnies.pietrus slipped on a breakway layup. Redick forced a garbage shot with a chance to tie the game. Nelson was flat out sucked. And Orl could not get an off rebound, just like they didnt in game 3. ALL THOSE THINGS are not do to inexperience. Some yes, not all.

You're right. An absolutely crucial intangible in this series is that the Magic are prone to beating themselves, whereas the Lakers never gag away games in this fashion.

It's baffling. What the hell is he doing late at night in the Magic's practice gym when he's supposedly shooting 300 free throws? Backrimming 200 of them?
