You have more value than Harden or Westbrook. No pro team should have these guys on their team and its clear why. They can not play team ball. Their skill is fitted more for college or street basketball. Their game is not professional enough and every team that takes a chance on these guys LOSE and fall apart.
You need to put Harden on the bench and have him come up as a 7th man and play with the bench.
Everything the Cavs are putting up is going in it's not all his fault though he is an idiot. He already got 3 fouls, 2 offensive - one because he hasnt figured out the kick out isnt gonna be called on 3s any more you actually get an offensive for it and then he tried to drive into Love who has taken somewhere near the most charges in the league and is a vet he always gets that call.

I know right, it's not like Ben Simmons was helping them. I still don't see why they needed to add 2 1s to Curry and Ben in that deal, one would have been more than enough but still it's been night and day the offense now they go from having a PG that can't shoot a 10 footer (who was sitting at home) to a guy can hit from everywhere.
I was actually surprised how quickly Harden and Embiid seemed to develop chemistry. This game the Cavs are just shooting the lights out and playing inspired its lucky they are only down single digits.
harden may not be a killer, but he works on his game a lot. his dribbling, moves, and shooting are top tier.
westbrook, on the other hand, relied on his athleticism for most of his career, and now that his athleticism has left him, he can't dribble past a defender, take an open shot, or make contested layups, pass to an open man or defend his man.
so yes, they both won't win as the #1 guy of a championship team... but harden can definitely help you get there.

Meanwhile Steph is getting fouled in a natural shooting motion and not getting the call. Couldn't stand the guy but you know what, he was exploiting a rule. The league somewhat rectified it. It is what it is. The dude can literally do everything on a basketball court, even play defense. He just always chose not to. That's an earmark of D'Antoni teams. Abstaining from defense.
This is the most brain dead take i've ever seen on this site. Harden is a weirdo, but he and Westbrook aren't even in the same universe as far as their game is concerned. Westbrook's career is over. He's a guy who's relied strictly on athleticism and now entering his mid-30's he no longer has the same impact on the floor. Just a guy who could never shoot and only cared about stat chasing. Westbrook is a legit team killer and should only be on your roster if your trying to tank.
Harden has improved every team he's ever been on and yeah he can be selfish at times (on some of those Rockets teams he had to be) he's an extremely good floor general, and creates space for himself and the other guys on the floor. I'm a Sixers fan and the offense has been night and day compared to before the trade to these first 4 games w/ Harden running the show. He has lapses and hasn't won the big one, but he's still a top 15 player easily and his game will age more like Chris Paul than the lazy John Wall/Westbrook comparisons i've heard.

Westbrook is just as athletic has he has always been. He is being bogged down due to his mental game over and over and he just doesn't play well with other players. This isn't street ball. This is the NBA.
Majority of NBA players couldn't even play and succeed in the old NBA.
