Totally agree with you VFR. But then you have to put it on Van Gundy for playing him. Maybe now is not the best time to let Nelson get back in playing shape.

He should have been standing at the three-point line, which he wasn't, to force old man Fisher to put the ball on the floor and go for the deuce. It also doesn't help his cause that he's only 5'4 and has zero length to contest a shot.

guys, you fisher was WAY behind the line (Fisher's left foot was touching the second "A" in the word "Arena" when he launched that shot)...and besides, you can blame any number of reasons why the magic lost, including keeping Howard in the game when he was a liability at the free throw line, not fouling right away and geting the ball back, forcing the lakers to make free throws, then get the ball AGAIN to try to tie/win it (although that would have left the Lakers the possibility of winning before the 1st overtime if the Lakers hit their free throws and the Magic missed theirs, so i don't fault SVG for that)...Pietrus is NOT the guy you want taking that last shot, and if he is you have to drive to the basket and not settle for a fadeaway jumper...I could go on, but Fisher's crazy 3 was not the real reason why the magic lost game 4

It came down to shot selection and hitting the shot when it counts...the magics were up by 3 at the end stretch when lewis has the ball he pumps fake the 3's and drove to the basket and miss the floater. the guy suck, no wonder he does not like to drive to the basket. should have just took the chance and down the 3's. had he hit either the three or the two the magics would have been up by 5 or 6 game would have been over.
