The Lakers had doubters all last year. 2006-2007 you would have lost money. 2005-2006 you would have been around 55%. 2004-2005 you would have lost.

The top (and profitable) teams are different nearly ever year. If you do lots of research and guess right prior to the start of the season you have a chance. But is it worth it to put your investments into that for a few months, year after year? I don't think so. I don't think its smart money management. I don't think you'll choose the right team often enough.

How long is a season?  I could make that much every week, Idk, but its a good theory, but youre still gambling, that the lakers will take you there the whole season with no injuries, mid season trades. Its too long for small profit.

I am going to wait on the line, Denver is a very solid ATS team too. The sharps will move the line to -7 or -6.5 by tip off.

I got in on Denver at -8.5 I'm happy. And yes Denver has been the strongest ATS team so far.

check out my thread, I'm on the Lakers every night EXCEPT when vegas inflates the line. For example against the Pistons last Friday

That is a pretty solid idea that I have followed over the last few seasons.  Right now Detroit and San Jose are pretty hot, and have been making me money.

Well damn. What do you know. Denver seemingly couldn't play any defense that first quarter. Grats Lakers betters. Its nice when you never really have to even worry. Luckily 3 of my other picks came in.

It was nice for us LA backers that they jumped right out the gate and never looked back..But  IMO LUCK is a big part of gambling...And with this experiment....I'm just doing it for fun...but I do believe the Lakers can and will win more than 50 % ATS and Just for shits and giggles I will ride them until they prove otherwise....

Total investment  $300 (2-1 ATS since I started)

Total loss            $100

Total Winnings    $ 180 + $200 (return of investment)

From the past we learn:
The Lakerz are hot ATS this year...8-3 ATS
We jumped on the train and we are now 2-1 ATS
which to me = ..Might not be the same next week,

PPF: Are you actually betting this money? I only ask because if you are then why don't you have the amount you are betting increase (or decrease) as your bankroll increases (or decreases)?

Pingpong, I'm sorry, but this in my opinion doesn't make sense. You CAN'T put IF you would have started from the beginnig, 'cause you really don't know what to play at the beginning, unless you just said "fuck it, I think the lakers are going to have a good year, I'll bet them every game".

Now, the lines adjust, and you so far have risked 300 to come up only 80 bucks.

I just hope you keep it up and wish you luck, I'd sure like to see how you come up at the end. best of luck if you stick wiith it

Last year I remember fading the bad teams like the heat was money.This year fade the Wizards and the Clippers should bring back a solid return.
