I also like the Lakers against the Hornets. Hornets don't travel that well. The Lakers love beating up on the Hornets. Foul trouble has been hurting the Hornets. They are also about 1 or 2 big men short when they play the Lakers. Hornets are a much weaker team without Jakovic. Line might be inflated though.

This was a good Friday for me. I took Cleveland 1H -2. They covered. And Cleveland -3.5 for the game. They covered. I also took the Orlando Magic 1H -3. They covered. I placed the bet on Dallas for the game thinking Shaq is not playing as per the injury report here in covers.com and other sports websites. And just before game time, it showed Shaq was in the lineup for Phoenix in the yahoo sports box scores. So I bet the other way with Phoenix. I lost the vig on that.
But nonetheless it was a good NBA Friday indeed.

Maybe Ron Artest is not going to play because he missed Friday's Houston game due to a sore ankle. After a long road trip, they are going home, where they will be favorites even though they played the night before.
Talk about the cliche of not showing up at home against an inferior team after a long road trip. This is it. I think Houston will be -4.5 to -5.5 favorites. I'd take the Knicks on this one because of the shooting run'n'gun style offense. At the same time, all that running around, how is T-Mac's knees going to hold up. And as for Artest...if he plays it will make the spread increase. But I also have to look at game time, because if Quentin Richardson is out again due to an injury during practice...then I am laying off the game.
A game I am looking at also is the Milwaukee @ Minnesota game. Minnesota has has won six games(including beating NY) and lost 2 games since beating the NY Knicks. They are also in a 4-game winning streak. At the same time the three times they have been favorites at home during their winning span, they have won all three. Milwaukee is the ATS King and coming in as underdogs. Milwaukee has a good chance of winning. Minnesota is hot but with three days rest, it may have cooled their hot shooting. Milwaukee didn't cover the last tw games, but they shot really well in their Friday game against New Jersey.
Milwaukee should be a good 1st half play. It's off right now. For the game, Milwaukee is a pretty good play as well. I'll wait and see tomorrow with the NY Knicks first though.

This way, the losses are limited, and at the same time the wins should be better (higher percentage) as long as I bet into smart money good games. They don't always win.

The Knicks covered the first half. But then their shooting just went cold in the 2nd Half. And I've never seen it that cold before. Oh well.
At the same time. Orlando has been hot. So I try to ride hot teams and I've won 6 bets with Orlando and only lost 2 so far this season.
