Okay I am betting the LA Lakers -1 1/2 for 75 risking 90. Boston is on a red hot streak. And the smart bet here is to bet on Boston. But I'm just going on the psychological bet here. Revenge factor. I don't think that will make them win, but I think Boston will not cover all 4 games on their West Coast Road trip. So, I'm betting against them tomorrow against Golden State as long as the ATS on that is at least BOS -15.

Thanks guys. The Lakers are up right now 39-36. But then again the Suns were up by five earlier around this time, and San Antonio came back to win that game. I wonder if the Lakers can hold on and win by at least two.
 
You know I realized that Phil Jackson and Doc Rivers, the two coaches hate each other. Doc complained to the referee about a call, and Phil got up and told the referee something also, and Doc just "animatedly" and "waved" Jackson off.
 
What caused their dislike for one another ? Do they have a history besides last year's championship series ?

Thanks BayAreaBaller, hopefully it holds. And Mia thanks for the info, unfortunately I'm new at this and am not used to 1st half / 2nd half spreads. You are on a roll ice3b. Good luck to you. Oh and Bloindbind, I took a picture with my cell phone coz I was bored when I was searching for an avatar. I thought why not my legs, at least it's something different.
 
By the way, what can any of you say about betting the Unders on basketball ? Do I just get the list of who's leading the Unders for the season so far, and then bet on them ? But which games though ? How do you people go about betting Overs and Unders ? What do you take into consideration ?

By the way on the Over/Under question I posted earlier. Is this sound reasoning ? Both really good teams play, then take the Under. And if both really bad teams play, then take the Over ?

Yay !!! Lakers win 92-83. I covered. What a nice Christmas. Too bad I can't bet on the Cleveland Cavaliers. Although it is scary to bet at -15 on that because they might be up by so much and then keep everyone benched and just barely lose the cover.
 
I'll just bet again tomorrow. I'm looking to see Minnesota @ New York tomorrow. Although the Knicks are favored by -6.5 which is kind of too high. But then again, if their shots keep sinking in, they might all out wipe out Minnesota tomorrow. The Over is at 213. I might take that too. Maybe. I'll have to read the previews tomorrow before the game.

i dont when and how its fixed but all sports games that invile money shit fixed!!!

Thanks for your insight into my question ice3b. If I was going to bet the last game (Dallas/Portland), I would've bet the Over (192) in that game since the four games have all been Under so far. That would've been the obvious choice. But I don't know. Plus I didn't want to bet anymore, since I won with the Lakers.

Sorry about your loss Kriptonite. I couldn't reply to your post because I slept already during the last game of the Portland/Dallas. If I was a betting person I would've bet the Over on that game, and I would have lost also. I was just going on a higher percentage play of betting the Over since all the previous games were Under. But it was the Under that swept the whole Christmas games.
 
For tonight's game, I am leaning towards New York/Minnesota Over (214) on that game for the simple fact that New York's offense is based on shooting within 7 seconds of possession of the ball, and lacksadaisacal defense.
 
Also, the Over (192) on the New Jersey/Charlotte game. Although the smart bet on that would be the Under since Charlotte has been a long time leader all season as the Under and they traded away their leading scorer Jason Richardson away for two good defenders.
 
I am also looking at Memphis/Indiana Over (204.5). Two bad teams usually go on the Over because of poor defense or because of young guys just going for the gun.
 
The reason I am looking at a lot of Over games is because of yesterday's complete sweep of the Unders. I am just looking at nice value bets.
 
The New York Knicks are favored a whopping -6.5 against a hapless Minnesota Timberwolves team. The smart bet would be to take the T-wolves at +6.5 because they covered both games against the Knicks last year with basically the same team, and with the Knicks with almost basically the same team. However, the key difference is the Knick's new coach's concept of shooting within 7 seconds of possession. If the Knicks start hitting their shots then this might be a wipe-out of the T-wolves. But could the 5 days of rest have them rusty shooting tonight ? I don't know. Plus after covering ATS for 7 straight games (mostly on the road), they came home and lost and went on the road and lost both ATS. Therefore they are on a 2 game ATS loss. If they do not cover tonight then it's going to be a 3 game ATS loss streak. I am leaning towards the Knicks losing here as well.

The depleted Golden State Warriors should be easy pickings for Boston Celtics who are only favored by 10.5 in this game. But have all the adrenaline been sucked out of their pumped up match with the Lakers last night ? I mean can the referees have the same calls as last night ? If so, then Golden State should lose and cover easily. If not, then Boston wins in double digits. I am looking at Boston on this one too.

elaine_valerio..  The late game went over the posted total.  196 was the final tally, beating the posted number by 3-4 points depending on when and where you got it.  Nice day yesterday, hope your holiday was all you expected.
