The truth is I am not hating, I am critiquing him.
My opinions is that he knew all along what he would do.
Shame on Rose to deflect attention on God when asked about when he was coming back.

There are thousands and thousands
of hardworking americans changing their opinions about Derrick Rose
and it will get worse if Bulls beat Nets tonight.

So if he came back say last week and got reinjured what would you say then? If you were tied down in contracts worth over 400 million and you didnt feel healthy enough to play would you still come back and play?

Makes me sick that he's on the bench PRETENDING like he cares(he's secretly rooting for Nets you can be 100% sure about that). More importantly.. how can his teammates+coach look at him?? They are all probably disgusted by him but have to keep it to themselves.

Yes Michael and Kobe would have been playing 2 months ago. Some people have that fire and some people can sit back and scream from the bench and be ok w that. And as for his brother saying months ago that rose wasn't coming back until you get a supporting cast for him.

Hind sight is 20/20. But Brandon Roy played with NO KNEES he wanted to win so badly! I GUARANTEE YOU Brandon would be playing as soon as the doctors cleared him.

As far as Derrick, I understand it's part psychological because he puts his body on the line every time he goes to the basket and really takes a pounding for it. There were times I was surprised that he even got up after landing so hard on the hardwood.
Obviously his thinking is if he can't go full throttle then he's not going to play, period.

You left off the part about some coming back too soon, getting reinjured and ruining their careers.

I actually agree with you by the way he plays the game, all out. If I were a Bulls fan I wouldn't want him playing at 80% either and ultimately facing a Miami team that beat them 4 games to 1 WITH Derrick playing in the ECF 2 years ago.

But from a non-Bulls fan point of view, I would like to see him play just for the entertainment value.

Totally agree!! If he's hurt he shouldn't be practicing and being at the games. If he were acting injured I'd probably buy it. That makes sense as is if there's any respect left he's gotta be losing it every day from his teammates. Unfortunately looks like we'll have another couple weeks of the "will he, won't he" stuff. Nets suck tonight.

Are you serious? If he came back and got reinjured thats part of the deal.
No one is gonna guarantee you that you play in NBA, make millions and in the process do not get injured.

I repeat - if Rose is afraid he should get some safer job - get MBA and work an office job.
Of course he would have to work 5 years to make what he  makes in one game.

You cannot have it both way.
He is an athlete. There is risk involved. He should play.

News flash for Derrick Rose, who basically said he won't come back until he is at least 100%.  The idiot does not even realize that you will NEVER be 100% again after a sports injury.  So he should NEVER come back if he truly believes the garbage spewing from his mouth.

So basically he should play even if he's injured by your account and he is still injured, that knee doesnt look right in the videos. You know after Penny Hardaway had his second surgery he wanted to recover fully and get his mind in sync with his body, team management told him "its all in his head" so he came back before he wanted to, ended up having 4 more knee surgeries, busted career, a shell of his former self and ultimately lost out on millions because of pressure and trying to please others. Rose is showing he's smarter than that and I applaud that.

He shoots 45%--32% from 3, gets 6 assists and 3 boards a game.  He ain't all that.  And his being voted MVP 2 years ago is the biggest joke in the history of that award.

I see what you did there, funny you left off his scoring. He averaged 25, 8, and 4 the year he won MVP, well deserved.
