Well maybe NBA players should just stay home all season long
and collect their paychecks because there is always a risk that
they might get injured playing basketball.

Maybe sport fans should just mail their money to NBA owners and instead of visiting NBA games they could just stay longer at work.

Maybe the best doctors in the country could save their time and instead of operating on Derrick Rose (he could be reinjured afterall so why try) they could fix regular folks - like construction workers.

Or maybe he can renegotiate his contract - give money back and allow some good players to be signed or better yet - get traded so that Bulls could get a real player like Chris Paul.

Rose is 100% correct -- if you are not confident in playing, then you can't go. He's a freak athlete and won MVP in a LeBron year people! This is not some two bit role player. He is a top 10 talent in the league when healthy, hands down difference maker. Chicago's problem has always been that they don't have another wing guy who can create for himself off of the dribble, thats all they are missing. A guy like Afflalo would have been PERFECT for this team.

You act like he announced his retirement and is still trying to get all of the money from the contracts. He's just waiting a little longer to play, whats the big deal, are you mad he's getting paid while not actually on the court? Many people get paid and dont work. He will be back, he is not ready yet, Ive seen video that knee is not ready by a long shot actually.

That is true and that's why he got rewarded with a huge contract from Bulls and Adidas.
He does not make the same money as Noah or Deng - that's why he should either play or return money when doctors say he is safe to go. You cannot have it both ways.

Basketball is a team sport.
Btw Derrick Rose is not Lebron James.
Rose will need much more support to win NBA ring.

gave Rose a Green Light.

Does anybody think that Bulls organizations would
try to jeopardize Rose future?
I repeat if Bulls did not want him to play they would have shut him down long time ago. They need him.

What Derrick Rose has been doing is unprecedented.

In any other job one would be suspended without pay or fired
if one would refuse to do his/her job - the job that one has been hired to do - after being cleared (2 month ago) by the best doctors-specialists in the country.

Do you not see a difference in the interests of the Bulls doctors and in Derrick Rose? Let's not get it twisted, Rose needs to watch out for his own body and health and the job of the Bulls doctors and training staff is to get him back on the court as soon as humanely possible. It's crazy here because the entire organization backs Rose, its only "fans" who want him to rush back. I don't want to rush back special talents, maybe that's just me.

I could have a doctor tell me all day I am good to go, but if I still don't feel 100% -- which is what he and the Bulls organization agreed to and still agree to -- I'm not going out there and risking further injury. Not after all that time already on the shelf.

Rose is humble and plays with a fury. What is there not to like about him? He got shut down by LeBron in the playoffs, is that it? Because then he can join everyone else on the planet who could be shut down by LeBron if they had to go against him 1 on 1.

Taj Gibson just came back and got reinjured all over again. I said Ive seen video umm which means video of him playing, do you think? Again, youre sitting in a totally different perspective and dont have hundreds of millions on the line. Rose's knee isnt ready to return to play, what dont you get about that.

Derrick Rose and the Bulls are in agreement with how to handle his return. Notice his coaches, the players, everyone saying "we trust in Derrick, we believe in Derrick, he'll be back when he is ready."

In some parts of the video, he looks good to go (driving to the basket and pulling up for shots), but in others he might look iffy.  The mental part is what's holding him back, but unfortunately those mental blocks can have physical manifestations.  If you've ever twisted an ankle or hurt a knee only to the point where you need to take it easy for a week or so, then you noticed that you developed a limp and certain movements to overcompensate.  Eventually, you might start doing those even after your ankle/knee is better.  That could be what some of his movements in the video are.  He is so used to walking/hobbling like that, that he is doing it now out of habit.  Regardless, I just hope he gets it worked out this offseason because it'll probably be a mess if he doesn't start their first game next year.

Also, I understand the arguments for and against why Rose should still be sitting out, but I wouldn't read into what coaches and players are saying.  Nobody in the organization is going to call out the superstar player who is locked into a max deal.

In no part of that video does he look "good to go" even while horsing around. Mind you we are talking the NBA and we know at what feverish pace, heart, and desire he plays with. He would be a detriment to the team right now if he were to play. He probably wouldnt beat me right now in a pickup game.

Derrick Rose is a FRAUD.  If he really cares, and gives back this year's complete salary for sitting out, then this becomes a non-issue.  But we all know that will never happen.

An ACL injury is not uncommon, and you are never the same after experiencing any injury.  But Derrick Rose should have ZERO say on whether he plays or not.  If the team says he is healthy enough to play, play or don't get paid.  Bulls management knows he is a long-term investment, and they are not going to just throw him in a game if they don't think he is ready.

Rose is actually healthy enough to play.  But I guess gritty team players like Noah should refuse to come in, when his foot injury is only going to get worse by playing.

He would not be a detriment to his team right now. Many players are injured, sick, or both.  If you don't think he's ready or should rush back, then that's fine, but they're in way too bad of shape right now for him to be a detriment.

Same thing I posted, where in itdoes he look like he's ready to play an NBA game, he doesnt even look comfortable in that scenario. If I can beat him he's not ready.

Of course it does not mean much because we all know what Derrick Rose said:
"I'm not coming back until I'm 110%'

I wonder what Derick Rose would do if his
cleaning lady would announce that she will not clean his mansion untill her body is 110% and pain free but still expects to be paid

I said to look at the gif, not the video. It is a specific portion of the video. He drives to his left, fakes, and pulls up. He looked pretty comfortable while doing that.  Also, I don't know why you keep saying that Rose couldn't beat you lol. He just drove and scored on a teammate. You can say all you want about him not looking comfortable, but if he can drive in and shoot a pull up, can dunk, is medically cleared to play, then there's a strong case that he should at least go play some minutes.
