Your arguments are that the Kings played 2 teams tough on the road and are in need of a win, when it doesn't matter right now whether they win or lose games because there is 0% chance they make the playoffs. And your other argument is that you think the Bulls organization is in flux when in fact they have won 11 of their last 16 games and 9 of their last 14 post Deng trade.
But, you can spin these arguments anyway you want and try to let these puppets that blindly tail you to agree with you.
No hard feelings, but to come at me and say my points aren't valid is just proof in the pudding that you can't look past anything that anybody disagrees with you about. If you win this bet, I will be the first one to congratulate you, but by no means is it a safe bet on your part. Lots of factors go against your pick tonight, as to why I like the Bulls and will lay the short chalk on the road against a hapless team without their best player.
You know, Papa. I don't know why it took Scals thread to get you writing again, but I'm glad (even if you are opposite us on this game). You used to give great write ups and then recently just started giving out picks, like you are above it all. Please go back to giving us write ups, so us "sheep," can make up our own minds rather than follow blindly.

My counter argument for the fact that the kings are terrible ATS on short spreads is that that is terrible analyses as to how one should approach this game and you are playing the spread not the team.
My counter to this being a worse spot for the kings is that it's not. Bringing in a team that has lost 3 of 5, is traveling west, is cutting and selling off its bench and stars, is having its current star criticizing their HC, is overplaying their starters with extended minutes vs. a team that lost by 6 4 and 2 to the pacers, Mavs and spurs respectively in this losing streak and is in the cusp of taking one down makes them think the bulls are grade A meat tonight.
My counter to the travel days and rest was my Knicks comment because I'm seeing even better play out of the kings to break the streak then I was when the Knicks lost 9 in a row and smashed the nets. Losing streaks dominate everything including tired legs.
My counter to the 7-0 in last 7 after a loss is that again, you are playing a streak and not the team, just looking at a bounce back spot when this is actually one against a very hungry Kings team in their home floor.
Any more counters necessary for me to address?
Here's one.
Don't put your money on the counter and say the words Bulls -2.
It'll make you sleep better when all is said and done.

Kings biggest problem is a tough loss on the road to SA. This team does not bounce back off of tough losses especially off a tough road loss. Every close road loss has been followed by an ats loss, better yet they've gotten blown out the next game.
Kings only play well at home against the better teams in the league, Bulls don't fall into that category.
Appreciate the write up and thoughts even if I disagree with you. At least it starts a good discussion on a game something this site sorely lacks.

lookin ahead to wednesday night the kings host the red hot raptors. thats the game ill be jumpin on the kings. dont think 2nites a good spot

Bulls are still a big brand name due to Michael Jordan, as crazy as that sounds.....

We need look back a mere two games to refute the claim (ironically, the absolute minimum necessary to discuss a bounce back spot).
The Kings led the Mavs on the road by 14 and only lost the lead in the very late 4th at 96-94 and ultimately lost by 4. Wouldn't a blown 14 point lead against a solid western conference team in the road qualify as a tough loss, especially when you are trying to snap a 5 game losing streak?

So what happened the next night?
Did they lose ATS? No. They were getting 11 and lost lost by 2, a more than comfortable cover.
Did they get blown out? No, they lead by 10 in the third on the road and played neck and neck down the stretch and lost after a GW miss by G ay.
Yet another tough loss and now the bulls tonight.
So folks, they DO bounce back after tough losses, at least there is evidence of that, very recent evidence on a big losing streak they have to snap.
Be careful with lightbulbs.
You may flick a switch and have them burst...
