I am not a fan of the Raptors, but I hope Kawhi stays in Toronto as a fan of the NBA. To me, there is something wrong about not attempting to defend a championship. However, if he goes West, that's another nail in Golden State's chances again next season.

GS proved they can win without KD. But they also proved they CANNOT win without Klay.

I am going to say Kwhai already has his mind made up. He isnt going to the Lakers not enough money for him. New York and New Jersey make absolutely no sense to me he doesnt like cold weather. Why leave the Raptors for 2 franchises who are not top 4 in the east. The Bucks the 76ers and Celtics all better. So he can get the most money from the Raptors short or long term deal. The Clippers are the only place he leaves for I think. I can see that because he wants to go home they can give him max money and a chance to contend right away. I just have this feeling he is staying in Toronto on a short deal 3 years 2 plus 1 player option. Toronto is not cold weather? I always figured everywhere in Canada was pretty cold. But I've never been there. So living farther north doesn't mean your temps will be lower consistently?
