Anyone else see TREMENDOUS value in the CHA @ Portland O/U???

O/U 189.5...This jumped out at me with more force than a special effect in the 3D version of Avatar...

It seems like this line would have been accurate if this were the 1st quarter of the season (roughly first 25 games)...The 2nd quarter of the season (around 25 games) paints a much different story, especially last couple of weeks...

The reason for my surprise at how LOW the total is, is the following:

- Charlotte has scored or given up over 100 points in their last 9 games...Charlotte has averaged over 112 points in their last 3 games

- Portland has scored or given up over 90 in their last 8 games...Portal has averaged over 103 points in their last 3 games

- Andre Miller stated in an interview with NBA TV after his 52 point game that their main objective is to push the pace of games and run more often....Since their big men are injured, it is imperitive that they run more, cause turnovers and run quickly...

8. vs Phoe (another run and gun team: Total: 196 after regulation,  231 afyer OT)

So you, see the last 10 games show that when Charlotte was playing run and gun teams or when playing OT their games were high scoring, otherwise they were fairly low scoring....the stats, thus are decieving.....not as much value as you think.

This is a good point and the first thing I considered when I looked at the massive amount of points that were scored in Charlotte games...But with the fact that Portland is now playing an up-tempo style game based on their recent performances and the words of Andre Miller, I think we will see many points scored tonight...If this game was played 2 months ago, I would have expected a 86 to 83 type of game, but these teams have been playing a different style of ball recently, especially Portland...

Dropped something small on the Halftime Over 96.5...Made a big wager on the Over 190 (my line went up) for the full game...

Also made a big play on the Celtics +1.5 1st Quarter against the Wiz tonight

What worries me is th question whether Portland has enough punch in this game....Key guys out and I dont think Miller can carry them again, plus Charlotte plays good D.

Also, just added Miami -2 1st Quarter vs the bucks...

So to sum it up, my plays for tonight are:

Cha @ Port 1st Half Over 96.5 - 1 Unit

Cha @ Port Game Over 190 - 3 Units

1st Quarter Boston (- 1.5) - 2 Units

1st Quarter Miami (- 2) - 2 Units

No reason to worry as of yet...Charlotte does this every game...I always fade Charlotte in the first quarter because Steven Jackson always tries to get his game going first, meaning he hogs the ball..Once they take him out, their offense begins to flow...I dont know why I didnt fade Charlotte in this game in the first quarter tho...
