8 twenty point + blow out games, NBA is the worst pro sport product

Truly the worst pro sport. Adam Silver has nuked the NBA. 5-7 steps are now allowed without a travel call, it’s apparently called “the gather step” lmao. 

Non competitive games where guys truly don’t care about winning because their weekly paycheck is 7 figures and they’re living the dream. There is no good reason to watch or bet the NBA 

Agree the product is garbage but just bet the teams doing the blowing out? Makes for easy money.  Had Raps Rockets and Lakeshow tonight didn't have to sweat any of em

I agree . Seriously I was I fucking die hard bulls fan. Watched every game. Games I couldn't watch I recorded and watched after work. I know it started with MJ in the 90s but real shit I was still a fan when we sucked. Watched and rooted my ass off after that. Ben Gordon kirk hinrich Deng Noah then Derrick motherfucking Rose. Shout out Taj Gibson. Jimmy butler before he was what he is today. Something happened about 10 years ago. Don't have the passion don't have the same energy. Something has changed. I'll still check in from time to time but this is not the NBA I fell in love with as a kid

I love blow outs wtf. I rather blowouts because you can just cash out and switch sides where sometimes you get fucked by a team that chokes after leading

 True all the corporate money ownership made sports another industry to put their hands into. Not the same since the 1990s in reality. But nothing ever stays the same that's how it goes. Unless you have discipline and want to keep some traditions things usually go by the wayside. Other people will disagree and say the product is no worse than what it used to be. Strategy, playing style, and skillsets all evolve. And now with the corporate money owners taking over franchises they push the envelope higher. Players now make more than they could fathom like CEOs because their owners are richer and so are the media deals for the league. I miss the olden days pre-2000s when things were more reasonable and in check but they are gone. And like Rick Pitino said, "And they are not walking through that door."

 

I agree. I pretty much ignored the league last season and that's my intention this season.

 

Millions feel the same way, and I do, too.

 Hockey regular season I feel is terrible as well. 

I used to look forward to this time of year. The MLB playoffs, NFL the start of both NHL and NBA.

I couldn't possibly agree more with this.  I re-watched slo-mo, frame by frame, SGA take SIX! steps last night on a move and travelling wasn't called, he then followed it up the next trip down by taking 4 1/2 steps to launch a jumper.  The pathetic announcers wet themselves, they were so awestruck.    BARF
