(Holy crap, there's a shitload of great 80s music...I'm a rock purist, but I can make a strong argument of the 80s being able to at least be as good as the 70s in their own way....naw...the 80s were better....IMO)

Holy shit, I would have given 70% of my toes, someone elses choice which ones, to be at either of those shows!
I wonder if those lucky bastards in attendance have a grasp that they were watching the last significant piece of The Clash still jamming his brains out!
....By the way, there were a lot of other great acts at Coachella.

If I would have known about that show at the Roxy I would have been all over it. That would have been amazing in a smaller club.
My daughter kept buggin me to get tix for Coachella, but I was out of town that weekend so I blew it off. Didn't even look at the lineup if I knew BAD was there I probably would have made alternative arrangements. I asked her who was playing and she told me Kanye and a few others I had no interest in. Guess that is what I get for not taking the time to check out the line up.

Nut, I've been moping around for about 24 some odd hours since knowing I missed both shows, especially the Roxy one, by such a damn short amount of time...
I always think I am aware of "happenings", and I don't know how I can be better informed in the future......
Oh yeah Nut....along those lines. In Vegas' free big Weekly magazine called "Seven", there was a review about Coachella, and they didn't even mention BAD. Couldn't believe it, since national reviews I read later did...They did however mention Duran Duran. Go fricking figure....

Mugg probably already knows this, but it was actually David Gilmour that kinda discovered these guys, and then produced and took 'em under his wing.... They fizzled after a couple CDs, but very good band..

I grew up in the 80's so it is by far my favorite era of music. I respect all music and I listen to every genre but 80's "alternative/new wave/punk" is #1 in my heart.
I was in lust with Anabella Lwin most of the 80's. Have to pay homage in this post. Thank you Malcom McClaren for putting them together. Crazy she was just 14 when the band started.
Bow wow wow - Do you want to hold me
Bow wow wow - Go wild in the country

Thanks man I think the VH was one of the first MTV pulled but an all time fave with Intruder and someone finally uploaded a good one. The other one original on YT sounds like you're in a band drum. Then the Peppers performance on SNL I remember watching that live thinking Flea is a bad MF. Made us wanna go out and get in trouble being so pumped plus a young buck back then. John was a little off the other 3 were bringin' it, Frusciante is a great player though when his head is in it, we all got our issues I guess. The 8 tunes that I still like off Diver Down are timeless one of my first cassettes !
