U2- Electric Co. (live)

U2-The Unforgettable Fire (live- great one, one of my fav tunes)

U2-Two Hearts Beat As One (live)

U2-Where The Streets Have No Name (live done in 2006 Slane
Castle, but they crush it)

U2-Red Hill Mining Town

U2-Seconds (live...younger guys, if you've never heard this tune, check it out....)

I personally prefer U2 from '81-1990 ending up with Acthung Baby. I think they had cooler stuff back then, but there concerts now, their talents as performers clearly better, well just different anyway.

The Alarm- Rain In The Summertime

Jesus Jones- Right Here, Right Now (this might have slipped across into 1990)

Pet Shop Boys-Being Boring (live)

Billy Idol- Blue Highway (I fucking loves this song. Anyone that doesn't like it, probably doesn't have a pulse)

This one's for jmw59......

The Cure-Just Like Heaven My fav 80s Cure tune done fricking great in 2008. They sound great! jmw, did you catch them during this 2008 tour?)

Nice one, Dude. If you haven't seen "Control" yet I recommend it. It's a movie about the beginnings of Ian Curtis and Joy Division, Ian's depression and ultimately his suicide. Great movie.

It is a great movie Henry. Watched it twice online

Curtis was actually bipolar....nobody seemed to put the pieces together at the time. He had epilepsy which is highly correlated

Let's do a "chicks who were hot 25 to 30 years ago but probably aren't that hot anymore" theme...

Mary Jane Girls - "In My House"
Vixen - "Edge Of A Broken Heart"
Kim Wilde - "Kids In America"
Bananarama - "Cruel Summer"
Wendy & Lisa - "Waterfall"

And a "get your lighter out" theme as well...

Tesla - "Love Song" (because it's one of my favourite songs of all time!)
Def Leppard - "Love Bites" (because it's from one of my favourite albums of all time!)
Poison - "Every Rose Has It's Thorn" (because they ARE 80's hair metal!)
White Lion - "When The Children Cry" (because it still brings me to the verge of tears!)
Motley Crue - "Home Sweet Home" (because I watched "Hot Tub Time Machine" last night : )
