"New" Pink Floyd album

Okay I just read the thread... damn we have a few haters.

 I never got to see the original Pink Floyd in concert. I was a frosh in HS the last time they came to Seattle, & back then I wasn't a huge PF fan.
 But as I became a big fan, I swore that if Waters or Gilmour ever came back here I'd see them. So when Waters toured the DSOTM show, I spent big $$ & took my daughter with me.......sat 5 rows back from the stage......almost dead center........& it was worth every dime. I loved it so much that when they came back around the next year, I drove up to Vancouver to see the same show, then flew to Denver to see it at the Pepsi Center. I also saw "The Wall" back in 2010.....stellar show..........trying to make up for lost time I guess.

 So yeah, I would highly recommend seeing either if you get the chance. 

 I think that fer sure Dark Side is quite possibly the best lp ever but dont for a minute discount the Deads body of work which does indeed surpass PF IMHO 

If left with the deserted island choice of 5 lps, PFwould not be one of them.But , as i stated Dark Side is a masterpiece

I saw the dead(minus Jerry), at alpine valley furtherfest 96. I was only a soph in highschool. Roger Daltrey sang for them! They played touch of grey for the first time since Jerry's death that night. I'm not the biggest greatful dead fan, but that was an unbelievable experience.

PF isn't everyones brand of whiskey, just as the Dead aren't mine. I can appreciate that everyone has their own tastes & that's just what they are........their own tastes. I tend to lean towards more "complicated" music but certainly like a wide variety of stuff. I can enjoy Foreigner as much as Emerson, Lake, & Palmer. There's just something about PF that speaks to me.

 I golf with a guy that has seen like 70+ Dave Matthews shows...............that makes me smh a bit.

 BTW, Rush was great Sunday night........very happy I went.

Hey Mugg, just saw that Newsweek has a special edition about PF real nice cover. Was in a mad dash did not get a chance to check it out, you might want to.

 I saw that.......damn, meant to grab a copy......hopefully there are some copies out there.
