Thx bro............it should be epic.........I can't believe more bro's here haven't seen this, but then again I understand that not everyone is as huge of a Pink Floyd fan as I am.

Still......it's a show that was shown in limited capacity when it was last performed 30 years ago.....

    Mugg,

I caught BOTH of the last two U.S. shows in Anaheim at the Honda Center.

I didn't find out I was going. One of my music type contacts in Vegas (I live there pesently) .... had production passes...

I wasn't paying attention to the schedule, and only found out that I had only two chances left here in the U.S. Very thankful it was about as close as I could have to drive to, and not be in Vegas...(those shows were impossible to get in)

    Finally, I saw Waters.

I have to admit, as great as it was, I really wish that I could have gotten to see many of his other great stuff that he's been performing at so many awesome shows over the last eight years that I'm finding out on youtube......

Any speculation Mugg if this is completely it/kaput/it's all over for Waters?   Many are speculating at the show(s) in Anahein, etc , that when he added so many (40) extra shows on this tour, and watching his mannerisms, the perfection of, and how much it felt like a "goodbye to the United States forever" on Tuesday night's show,

.....that Waters at 64 years of age, was hanging up the live show shoes after this tour....He looked in fantastic shape though, and that was just an amazing performance!

I'd go to Europe to see Roger do any non'"Wall" show.....

Well Mugg, I finally did it, after whining to you about having not ever seen him for the last 3 years here in the forum...

Him not being there affected absolutely nothing. I like Gilmour a ton, but not as much as Waters, and clearly Waters is the artistic production genius.

The two shows I saw were absolutely perfect.

The concert will start with the wall broken down. Then during the first set pieces will be added until the wall is rebuilt. In the 2 set the wall will all finished and Waters have pictures and videographics to illustrate the music and the songs. These will be projected up on a 800 m2 wall.

    The band:

Dave Kilminster (guitar), Snowy White (guitar), G. E. Smith (guitar), Jon Carin (keyboards), Harry Waters (keyboards), Graham Broad (trommer), Robbie Wyckoff, Jon Joyce (kor), Michael Lennon (kor), Mark Lennon (kor), Kipp Lennon (kor).

    Mikael99,

that was basically how each show was done in this tour.....Can't tell if you are saying that it is just an extension yet again of "The Wall" tour, or different and he maybe will do other Floyd album music and perhaps some solo stuff...

Glad you got to see it dennis...........while it was a great show I know what you mean about seeing the other material. Seeing them play "Set the controls for the heart of the sun" was very cool as was "Time" & "Wish you were here", etc.

I think you're right about the "good-bye"...........I can't imagine him, after completing this tour on the tail of the "DSOTM" tour, launching another tour after this...........I'm very lucky to have seen all these shows............& I'll never forget them.

Yeah Mugg, his body language, demeanor, mood, everything about that very last show in the US on Tuesday compared to that first Anaheim show Monday was so very different. It had this aura of "finality" to it, and certainly a huge sense that he was saying goodbye.

I had never ever seen him just prance around during a show with his arms raised as high as they could go while pumping his fists in sort of a victory thing, celebrating his whole career, and coming full circle by doing the Wall, the pinnacle of Floyd's success as many perceive, .........30 years later at 64 yrs of age. Last night with the same buddy that got me the past, and we saw Floyd do the exact same show ot The Wall in 1980.

My first thought, which cements my thought that this is really the end, was that Anaheim's concert was perfection, and significantly better than the 1980 show.....Have you ever compared the 1980 shows to the one you saw in Tacoma?

I would certainly rob, steal, borrow if need be to see Roger in Europe, if he ever just tossed out a handful of shows. He has done a handful of them over there before without it being called or termed a full blown tour if not mistaken.

I was listening to Roger speak after the first song on Monday, and he brought up that it was 30 yrs, 9 months, and some odd days since the Wall came out........I recall being, I dunno, 14015 at the time, and just started experiment with weed of course, Perfect time for that with all the great Zep, Floyd, and other great albums of the last 8 years, eh? LOL......Anyway, if someone walked up to me, and said Chu....er.....Dennis (hehehe)....in 30 years, you'll be 46, live in Vegas, and drive to Anaheim for an xxxxxx pass to see this band and their leader's farewell performance of this monumental album.........(that you are passing a bong back and forth enjoying the hell out of this amazing music).........I would have said that they were higher than me. At that time in life, college was already mapped out, knew I'd be in business in some capacity...true enough, but figured married/kids (nope)...etc.......it would have been cool to know and have that wild little glimpse of the future 30 yrs later though, eh Mugg?

    Fun to think about.

I never got to see the 1980 shows...........they were only in NY & LA.

But my sentiments were the same as yours.........I never dreamed that I'd be watching an original Floyd production in my late 40's...........it was powerful & emotional for me................It was cool  to see a lot of younger folk there.......... was like "Yeah, there are some kids that "get it".........not everyone has been duped by rap or hiphop...... ...... some kids still enjoy music.

     An epic show.......
