I thought his last album was absolutely awful.  And I've been a Nas fan since I was a freshman in high school back in 1993.

Really? I have been a Nas fan forever too. Given nothing of his will touch "Illmatic" from top to bottom but I thought "Untitled" was a solid album some of his best work in a little while.

Either way a shitty Nas album is better than anything Chamillionaire can put out that is for sure.

I wouldnt say Chamillionaire is the 'greatest' rapper right now, but he is easily the most underrated and one of my favorites...Most people on here havn't heard one of his songs since "Riding Dirty"...Go listen to the Mixtape Messiahs and u will be impressed....

Yeah dude, I thought it was pretty bad.  I wasn't a fan of the beats, the guests, and Nas' retarded political message that overpowered several of the tracks.  There were a couple standout tracks of course, but overall his weakest album(imo).  And where the hell was L.E.S.?  He has been peppering Nas tracks since Life's A Bitch, yet he was a no show.

My favorite Nas albums are It Was Written, I Am, and Stillmatic.  Least favorite are Nastradamus, God's Son, and Untitled.  Middle of the pack would be Hip Hop, Street's Discipile, and Illmatic.

Before Nas fans cream me for having Illmatic only in the "middle of the pack," let me say it is my own personal liking on the album.  I certainly understand how important and groundbreaking that album was when it was released.  I know how raw and real it was compared to a lot of the crap out back then.  I don't know though.  I just think that It Was Written equals it lyrically, sounds a lot better, and has more content(ill only 9 tracks; 8 if you add in that Halftime was released two years before the album).
