Yankees have won SIX of their last EIGHTEEN

Did you watch their recent road trip? It's hard to win with Kearns and Curtis replacing Swisher and Gardner. Tex also hurt his hand and broke his toe. Kind of hard to keep playing like you have when that stuff happens.

Here's the thing with the Yankees' rotation. CC will be fine. Anyone who thinks he won't be simply hates the Yankees.

Andy didn't have a good start last night. While I'm dissapointed, I'm not concerned. He said it himself that he needs to do a lot more cardio to get back to where he was. There was no running with that groin strain so the longer you keep him in a game, the more he'll fall apart because he's not in shape. In 2 weeks time...he should be better.

Burnett is getting a ton of rest with all these rain shortened games. Last season he was 50/50...as he is this season. He has a good month and a dreadful month. He'll be fine but I understand why many would disagree with me there.

But my arguement is this. The Yankees' offense can handle the Twins', Rangers' and Rays' 3rd and 4th pitchers. It's the Phillies that I'm more worried about.

CC's next start is Friday. Hughes is being pushed back for extra rest. Everyone will be fine. If I'm wrong...I'll be the first to admit it that it was a poor showing. But I don't think I'm wrong. Everyone is talking as if the Yankees will get swept in round 1 because they don't have pitching. That's ridiculous.

They chose to get Kearns. No one to blame but Cashman.
